And that's because Viv wrote everything to be revealed in the 1st season right NOW, NOW, NOW. That idea could work maybe in later seasons.

Of course, Viv won't make it work, and she's just going to make YHWH, the literal omnipresent God, act like an average, basic, incel, straight, bigoted, "Christian/Tradcath" man because, again, straight, white, Christian male bad. Oddly enough, with her stereotypes and fetishization, she comes across as more bigoted than any white, straight, cis, male Christian. Actually, no. A lot of people have noticed. No one just wanted to listen.
She should have SHUT THAT GOD DAMN THING OFF, AND WENT TO WORK ON IT instead.

Of course, because she is typical in type of "grrrr fucking authority/moral values!!!! I can't enjoy my yaoi and degeneracy!"

I swear Viv acts like the rich people she's trying to present as bad (unless they're Stolas). She's only an advocate when it suits her because making everyone in her shows lgbt is giving me that pride flag logo in the month of June vibes.

As for the two sodomite fathers, it would be interesting to see if Blitzo did, but felt conflicted afterwards. "That could me and Stolas. What have I done?"

This one reminds me of Moxxie in the first season hesitating to kill the family because most likely, he wants to start a family himself, too. Blitzo, in this case, wants a stable, happy relationship, so he's gonna start killing, then feeling bad about it later because he's projecting.

But no. I don't like Stolitz. It's coercion and using a desperate person for sexual satisfaction, when he's clearly annoyed and saying "no" to sexual advances.

That's every """rich democratic-liberal/nepotistic baby""" with guilty conscience. Pretty much.

Yeah, but giving depth to someone like Blitzo, who for the most part is just a "FUCK YOU MOTHER FUCKER SUCK MY NUTS BITCH" is just pointless. He's more "hilarious" being a cunt, or something, right?

I try to not politisperg too much these days but I can't help but think Vivzie sees herself as the ideal "champagne socialist " she feels bad having to work with/for bezos and Amazon and knows people not working for a to z on a corporate level like her don't have it as easy. But she works hard as a thinker, an activist, and an artist. She probably sees herself as a second coming of those Soviet animators who made all those artsy and expressive films in the cold war era.

Or as animal farm once put it.

"The pigs needed the windfall milk and apples because they worked so hard keeping the farm in order. If they didn't get sugar on their tables, or sleep in proper beds, or drink their whiskey...then the farm would surley fall back in the hands of jones."

just like how he so casually talks about having sex with Blitzo and saying how people would want their bodies to her.
The duality of holding these characters to standards. Making explicit dirty talk in front of his daughter is one of things Stolas is rightfully criticized for, but when he said, "my big-dicked Blitzy," and made her spit out her coffee I actually lol'd.

It's kind of funny to think on becaue both characters seem to hold really high regards to their mothers who passed away brutally. But only Moxxie had struggles with killing a mother. You think Blitzø would be similar, especially since he was the cause of his own mother's death but no.

Then again, it's obvious that these characters' backstories weren't planned until way later on. Truthseekers is a good example of that as when they hallucinate nothing from their past is revealed.

Ignoring the joke spoiler, is anyone really that surprised? It's pretty obvious Viv wanted at least a couple of more episodes, but A24 only gave her 8. Or most likely gave her 16 episodes but separated it into 2 seasons, as that is pretty much industry standard at this point.

His wording is a bit confusing though. Does he mean that the first episode of season 2 was supposed to be the season finale episode, or that things in the season 2 episode was supposed to be in the finale? I assume the latter since, even those it was rushed as hell, the season 1 finale felt like a finale episode.
I could be that the finale was meant to be a two-parter or it could also be like HB were the real finale felt more like a bonus episode. But hold on, didn't the leaks show that the first episode of the season will be the one of Pentious in heaven? Was that supposed to be in season 1?

That's episode 2 of the next season. We haven't gotten anything leak wise for the first episode.

An interesting take looking at this its kind of creative. Nuts? I feel like its something thats not in Viv's vocabulary. I have never once heard a character talk about their testicles. Cock, ass, dick, pussy (barely), and even taint (rare) but I don't ever recall a joke where they talk about that organ. I wonder what shes so afraid of.

Maybe she’s allergic to nuts

These kinds of entertainers always whine about how evil capitalism is, yet they're the ones who benefit from it the most.

Speaking of best girls, apart from being rude to the protagonist Glitz and Glam did literally nothing wrong, despite being "villains". And, let's be honest, they were better showmen than that faggot jester.

Another set of good characters throw away in the trash because the show writers have no idea what to do with them besides merch.

Not only that Fizz technically is part of the problem too. I know they said they are fine being exploited, but what Fizz seems to talk about too is that Mammon actually abuses him (chains him up, hits him, starves him, and probably other things.) He shouldn't be acting like a fucking child and crying because of his spot. he should of been doing it in a way of protection (that he feels like he has to have it because others shouldn't suffer his abuse.) That should be more of been more of his arch other that shitty relationship issue.

From what the show made of Fizz is that. He was the best, eventally being burned for it and left in ruin. Mammon came and made him the best again, so in his psychological sense he would feel that he owes him and also doesn't want anyone to suffer that pain of stardom (because thats all he knows.). Fame for him as always been his downfall in different ways, but its the only thing he knows is to perform. Seeing fans and seeing others where he is there physically and practically. In his brain when they tell him (especially that shitty little deaf kid.) That they ALL WANNA BE LIKE HIM they want to be famous too. And because he is being held and abused by his boss he can't tell them the truth thats why he competes so hard so that others can't have that spot so that they can't be burned like he has.

Glitz and Glam should be a representation of him before it all (in his brain) and be the first ones to actually get to know that. They would be the reperesentation of him as a child when he was preforming (young, naive, hopeful, and to a small crowd that humbled him.) Fizz should be trying to tell them they shouldn't compete BECAUSE its not what its cracked up to be, but thats all he knows. He should actively be trying to tell them what is facing them. As Mammon is most likely going to abuse them way harder than Fizz because, let's face it they are women and Mammon has been written to be a misogynist no way hes not going to fuck with them in ways he couldn't with Fizz. Fizz should have an incredibly rich and interesting complex because of what Viv has set for him. He should be viewing himself is the only thing he can provide that hes worthy is his image. He should have a warped sense of self and be disassociating in some way (having sex robots or robots that wonder around that look like him, being plastered on everything.) This should be him finally gaining control over himself and beginning to make his own decisions to gain his own AGENCY.

But currently how its written he comes off as arrogant, prideful, incredibly selfish, and lacks depth. So his arch for this is that he leaves one master for another master. Wow Viv, thats so brave.

Something something bad to be a woman in Vivzie's works

But yeah, Fizz gets a ridiculous amount of focus for how unimportant he is. They could have spent an episode showing what Loona or other I.M.P. members do outside work, or shown Octavia spending the weekend with Stella/Andrealphus, or really shown Stella being anything other that a cartoon villain screaming HILARIOUS.

But the tiny jester imp being in a gay relation with a deadly sin was a story Viv really needed to tell, apparently.
