I’m just barely remembering that Sausage Party was a thing, complete with merchandise and random.
It was a pretty good example of five minutes of fame.

I wanna give her the benefit of the doubt and say she's doing this all on her own and doesn't have thousands of dollars and underpaid koreans doing the dirty work for her the way most major animation studios do.

I meant to say I want too but I'm not gonna Damm mobile posting sucks more ass than angel dust does xp

It’s kinda fascinating to be following this thread and the She Ra reboot thread at the same time just for the contrast between Noelle getting raked across the coals for a farmer pun while Vivz over here makes Springtime for Hitler Sausage Party OCs while her haters cry impotently.

There really needs to be a Virgin Reboot Showrunner vs Chad Internet Animator with those two.

Animation is a time consuming process, especially for an independent studios, and is prone to delays in production in ways similar to live action shows, sometimes to even bigger extents. For example, Hilda had a two year gap between it’s first and second season while Venture Bros is basically the Berserk of western animation; both are the more extreme examples and both are backed by professional studios.

To use the fact that Viv doesn’t have an entire season already lined up as a “truth” or “gotcha” misunderstands how animation works.

Yeah I'm fully aware that Animation takes time, but im also aware that those who worked on the pilot are not going to fully involved in the actual series. (Example: Ash left to pursue her own animation.) So im under the impression she'd have to fill in those who aren't part of her studio.

However, she also has Helluva Boss and now Zoophobia in the works. She is juggling three series now and I've yet to see anything about Zoophobia yet. It just seems to be a lot.

The GAMMA chick has a point though. If you see that comission someone paid you for is taking too long, or you may not be even able to make it at all, better suggest a refund than give false hopes. Of course, nobody cancelled the human factor, shit always happens.

What's the context behind that conversation anyway?

Unpopular opinion: I feel like she should have turned the series into comics instead, while sometimes making animations for content variety. As much as I dislike Vivienne, it will be sad to see her series collapse, unless they turn into shit. Even with HH picked up, 3 animation series at the same time is helluva work that requires fuckton of time and money. It probably won't kill her projects, but possible stagnation may fuck it all up badly.

She's a spaz. I'm amazed she actually finishes anything at all.

From my understanding, Hazbin is the main huh of activity while Helluva is the side project, complete with different writers and artists, thus helping a bit. The Zoophobia thing is apparently going to be a miniseries much later in the future, so it’s not really a main project at the moment.
Having said all this, even I’m not that optimistic and I fully realize that she could tank everything if she can’t juggle her projects and spazzes out of she’s not careful. Worst case scenario, she ends up as overly ambitious as Zagtoons.

Isn’t the whole point of being funded and officially picked up is that she can now hire plenty of animators to get episodes made faster? Some people are acting as if she’s going to immediately fail because it took time to independently finance and make the pilot. It’s a pilot for a reason.
