I've seen the figures for this series and the more child friendly one. It's a huge pass for me. Only thing that looked decent was Evil Lyn. I already have low expectations for the He-Man movie.

Rumors are saying that He-Man's going to get sidelined by Teela but I hope it doesn't happen. And even if Teela does have to save He-Man in the show it should be the B-plot.
I haven't watched it since Season 2 ended. I heard many bad things about Season 3 so is worth watching or should I just skip?

It's weaker than the other two seasons but there's a lot of great stuff in it. Mainly the ending feels rushed and some confusing choices were made.

Season 3 wasn't great but it was still decent. Considering the series is based on Castlevania 3 and 3 ended when you killed Dracula (aka the end of season 2), it feels like they stretched that out a LOT just to get a third season going. However the trailer for 4 looks absolutely badass. I'm going to binge it when I get home tonight.

I wasn't a huge fan of Season 3. It felt very stagnant like nothing was happening, until out of nowhere when everything started happening at once and it became sensory overload.
I hate to say it, but...
The show has kind of dropped off since Dracula was killed. Its like everything was building to that, and I enjoyed it, and everything that followed that has just been kind of spinning its wheels.

Season 3 was a let down. I wouldn't say absolutely terrible, but just no where near as good as 2. Also i'm only 4 eps into season 4, the only thing I can really say about it so far is that there has been a dramatic increase in the amount of niggers in the show. I didn't know Wallachia was so diverse.

They added a lot of bullshit. Like making Sypha an obnoxious Reddit Atheist when she worked for the church in the games.
They focused too much on other enemy chars than Dracula. It’s basically game of thrones, when there’s far more interesting and unique characters and ideas in the games. We already have GOT.
They strayed further and further from the source material to the point they could’ve just made an original thing. Worm Ellis is very proud he didn’t play the games.
Then they unnecessarily made Alucard bi in a gross yaoi fanfic moment. It’s funny, cuz they did it for the same reason those She-Ra fans are demanding He-Man be gay. Fetishization and owning the “chuds”.
You’ll have to make your own mind up, but imo I hope it fades into oblivion and is never confirmed canon.

Honestly, that the She-Ra fans hate it are all the proof I need that it deserves a chance. Thier misery is exquisite.
Hell, if Kevin Smith has She-Ra show up and be straight, I will buy all his movies on Bluray. Even Yoga Hosers.
Truthfully, aside from how awful Teela looks, the show looks impressive. Worth a shot at least.

Here's my bar:
1) It has to have a visual style better than She-Ra (Appears to be done)
2) It needs to be less insufferable than Thundercats Roar (Hard to not meet that one)
3) It needs to be less dull and boring than Transformers War for Cybertron (we'll wait and see on that one)
I'm not asking much here.

I think the show will clear those hurdles. Even if they go with the most woke version of the story they are attempting it still has a chance to be good if the writing is there.
I love Teela, so it's not an immediate turn off that the show will focus on her, but if He-Man is only in two episodes they can go fuck themselves.

that's one thing this reboot has going for it. unlike her Smith is at least familiar with the source material and seems to care about it. Stevenson was just offered to work on Sh Ra and took it. twisting the show into her own image of troon wish fulfillment. Without bothering to do any research on the source material because she just din't care about it.
Also side note, You'd think a site like this would have more Kevin smith fans, color me shocked.

Smith is a fucking shill that cares because he is being paid to care. Unlike Stevenson there is actual footage of Kevin on Comic Book Men saying he isn't a fan of MotU. Now he's a superfan. Uh huh, sure.

That looks great, but 90% of the show is probably going to be different when Teela becomes the protagonist. Rope 'em in with nostalgia and then ditch the toxic masculinity for grrrrrrrl power.

And teaser was a fun "Spot the old toy you remember" for fans. Seriously, who isn't in this thing?! LOL.
And the song choice was pretty great. Retro 80s song that works as a He-Man theme too.
