Helldivers 2 - Hell is more diverse than ever as PlayStation's demographics continue to grow and change.

how does one use the autocannon for killing chargers and bile titans? i am dumping multiple mags into both, and still not killing bile titans. i know where the weakspots are but damn does it take awhile. also autocannon is bugged and instead of giving you the option for flak or PHET it says guided or unguided. semi related gripe, there is no option to have teammates markers show up when not adsing but going away when ads. makes it very difficult to have an idea where teammates are but also provide long distance or danger close support. also really wish it just showed the dynamic callsign and not the full fucking name. hard to help XxXN4GG3RBVKSL43R1488XxX when his long ass name is blocking my view.

Autocannon is very bad at killing bile titans, their weakspots are only damaged by anti tank weapons, so you can only try to damage its sacks until they explode and keep shooting them until they die (takes a very long time).
Chargers only can get killed in the back with it, but it is better to just pop the sack and let the charger slowly die. Otherwise the same issue as with the titan.
Autocannon is great for light-medium enemies, and can only kill heavier ones in the weakspots efficiently. You can quickly mow down patrols with it, but it's long reload will leave you vurneable if you are surrounded or fight against bugs.
As for the location of your teammates, you should use the map from time to time - just a quick 1 - 2 second glance at it will usually let you know everything about distance, if you have some experience with the game. Pressing Q will also summon Donald J. Trump give you distance between you and the spot, which will help you guide your stratagems so that your teammates might not get killed by them. Honestly, just yell at them via the mic. You can scream NIGGER to get their attention.

Update on the swastika trench tactic. Sometimes you can encounter rocky terrain, which will prevent you from making explosion crates in the ground. Do not fret, use your imagination - with enough dedication, calculations, and general super-whiteness of your skin, you can come out on top in any situation.

Also, the explosion crater elevates the ground around it, so if you make 2 or 3 holes close to each other, you can create an elevated position for your turrets or anti-tank emplacements.

So how does the full shock build added by the All Cops Are Badass Warbond stack up? Got gifted this game two months ago, immediately got to work on the chemical agents pack, for a pure gas build. Currently in the middle of assembling a pure fire build but definitely interested in the shock drone from this new pack to try and assemble a pure shock build.

The blitzer was already the best primary in the game against bugs but I would imagine with the other shock stuff you are going to have a harder time with stuff like chargers, bile titans, leviathans, and factory striders.

Shock stuff is quite specific.
  • Electric weapons generally penetrate any and all armor, but lack enough damage to effectivel deal with heavy and ultra-heavy enemies (Tanks, Chargers, Hulks, Factory Striders, Bile Titans, Harvesters, obviously Leviathans).
  • They also have, usually, very limited range, so you won't be able to kill flying enemies (flying bugs, gunships, flying overseers, squid bomber).
  • Arcs also jump from entity to entity, including friendlies! So you have to also cooperate with your teammates when using these, or spend extra effort to keep your distance (having shock absorbing armor works too if you manage to tell them before the mission).
  • In general, they are quite good against chaff and medium enemies at close range, so you best use them either against bugs or as some sort of a shock trooper (get it, ha) against bots and it is 50/50 against squids. Works wonders in towns if you manage to avoid civilians.
Now, shock weapons are also a bit different.
  • Blitzer - slow DPS, low range, but stuns and has infinite ammo. Basically an extended melee weapon, good against bugs and squid mobs. You can use it as a back up weapon for your support weapon if you get caught in melee.
  • Shock lance - a worse version of blitzer - just a long melee weapon that stuns when hits. Goes into secondary weapon slot though.
  • Shock baton - a faster, but shorter ranged version of the lance. Its attacks have a wide arc, so it can be swung blidnly when you get swarmed by bugs or voteless and help you survive.
  • Arc thrower - a much better, longer ranged (but still very short) version of the blizter, deals more damage, it's lightning arcs from enemy to enemy, can kill chaff and medium enemies up close very efficiently, but slower than dedicated explosive weapons like a grenade launcher or an autocannon.
  • Shock drone - flying version of the arc thrower, DO NOT USE WITHOUT ARC ARMOR! This thing can very easily kill your teammates and even you if you are not lucky.
  • Arc tower - same stuff with the shock drone, but it does not move, deals much more damage, and it is easier to not kill your teammates or yourself with. Has a lethal range of about 30 meters, do not approach it closer than that. It rocks shit on bugs, but chargers and bile titans can instakill it quickly, so it needs someone with heavy AT weapons to complement it with.
  • De-Escalator - shock grenade launcher, 6 rounds capacity, insane burst DPS, but insanely slow single-round reload. It also is only shock weapon that has a long range - its grenades can fly up to 120 meters, farther than the normal grenade launcher's! It is however weird. It's grenades generate a stun explosion, and a bunch of shock arcs around it. The shock arcs can be very random! You may kill a horde of enemies with 2 grenades, or spend 6 grenades on one medium enemy and end up not killing it because the arcs would not connect to them (they do not go through obstacles). It also can very quickly kill a bile titan or a factory strider, with just a single 6-grenade burst to the head, but sometimes it does not do that. It is very effective against bots, it is quite random against bugs (sometimes they just don't get any damage from arcs), and I have not yet tested it against squids. Basically, use this weapon as long-range support, because the long reload time (which also has a wind-up animation with resets every time you get staggered or dive) will make it almost useless when you are surrounded by enemies.
  • That AR-180-looking stun rifle - it's just an AR that stuns after a few shots, nothing special, it does not deal shock damage.

Also, the shock arcs from the grenade hit only the bodypart closest to the center of its explosion. So you can kill hulks much quickly if you land your shots behind it's back (dont try to land a headshot, the grenade launcher is quite inaccurate), you can kill a bile titan if you land all your shots to its big head, you can kill the factory strider if you land all your shots to its big head, etc. Maybe that is why it feels so weird. It also duplicates kill counts on bots for some reason.

Might have something to do will all those planets deciding to migrate. Frankly these should have been added when Super Earth was invaded but better late than never.
Or maybe this is all clever editing and all faked.

Interesting? Are they human squid cultists? or unarmoured squids?

Looks fake; the blood is too bright. Squid blood is a much darker blue.

The warrant is decent for shooting shriekers out of the sky with the guided mode turned on. Too bad that's all the guided mode is good for when it comes to bugs.

I'm here to have fun and be extremely effective in one niche, it's part of the joy. Gas is god tier for defense missions. Gas mines on one side, gas strike on the other, sterilizer and dog breath for locking down a way in manually and gas grenades to neutralize a push. Roll in with a shotgun primary and a heavy armor penetrating sidearm and I'm not actually that helpless while my teammates take out tanks and stragglers

Not gonna exactly be very useful on a super helldive beyond confusing the enemy with gas grenades but I don't really care about finding the meta and only playing that one way until they change it. I usually play on 6-8 anyways

Why yes I always have high collateral damage how can you tell?

Thank you for the detailed breakdown, I think I can picture how my build will come together now from how I've seen others use the weapons.

I agree they should've been in sooner. More leaks show that we are going to have a Major order involving the black hole destabilizing and we send a bomb into it that clears it off the map. I don't know if this is before or after terminids go to klen dath 2 or whatever event they had planned for that.

This is if we win-

And this is for a loss-

I also found out they had plans for if we lost super earth with us finding a new planet to use as an HQ, so no it wasn't scripted for us to necessarily win.

Gas is very useful for clearing out light enemies - a single touch of gas is enough to jewify them postmortem. It is not as useless as it may seem - but it is defintely more useful in a combo with another, more damaging area weapon, to buy you more time to clear out the horde. As the game balance stands right now, some roles that are provided by multiple weapons can be easily provided by just using one of these weapons. In case with gas - the gas grenades are most versatile. They don't take a useful stratagem slot, they are quick to use, they got decent throwing range, and they last quite some time. You pair it with an Ultimatum, whatever primary, and some good anti-infantry support weapon, a supply backpack - and you are golden against any number of light-medium enemies, to let your teammates kill heavy guys more easily.

Full gas builds are mostly effective against bugs - where they stun the fuckers so much, that they are basically helpless for your teammates to destroy (a flamethrower buddy is just perfect for such scenarios), or even for you to just run past them (obviously won't help against bile titans or those burrowing tentacles). But even on bots and squids - it is a very useful support build - even on super helldive. Just got to try to cooperate with your teammates a bit more and stay closer to them.
If you still feel a bit useless, you can try to deploy a car and drive everyone to their desired destinations while having your gas drone send heil hitlers to enemies of the Super White Earth around. Be the Ryan Gasling you always wanted to be.

For the bug defense missions you can take a tesla tower, a mine strat and an AT weapon and if your team has similar thinking you wont even have to worry about the first wall getting breached, unless you get swarmed of course. Gas and arc damage are GOATed against bugs to the point where if I wanna focus on racking up kill count I run builds heavy with them.

The De-Escalator is kinda fun but at the same time kinda shit. Like at one point I managed to kill a titan with it and I've killed a few chargers with it as well as lots of chaff, but if you or your teammates aren't careful it will fry them instantly too. The Pacifier honestly kinda sucks imo, like it is good for stunning targets and then finishing them up if that's your thing but why not just shoot them? It will cut through chaff pretty well. I haven't tried the K-9 guard dog yet but I imagine it's going to be a TK champion.

TT is great for the cities. Place it in a chokepoint and your bug breach is solved.
