Helldivers 2 - Hell is more diverse than ever as PlayStation's demographics continue to grow and change.

Shrieker Nests are gonna be a pain to deal with, I had to waste 3 Eagle airstrikes to wipe it out. Grenade Launcher had no effect on it :(

Recoilless rifle kills them, but it takes like 2-3 shots from my experience.

Is it just me or are the premium warbond guns mostly shit? The only one I’ve found useful so far is the Sickle. The concussive liberator in particular was so egregiously weak I thought I must be doing something wrong

They kind of backed themselves into a corner when they said they want primary weapons to be weaker, so players use the stratagems more; that was the reasoning they gave when they put out the patch to nerf the Breaker and Railgun, so now if they backtrack with the premiums and buff them, it'll probably be seen as more of a cash grab from a game we already paid to play. Especially if they don't buff the basic ones we get from the free warbond.

The first two diligence rifles I see no appreciable difference besides five less on the later "counter sniper" one. It might be able to sight for further ranges but that doesn't really matter to me.

I think they should look at secondaries more. The peacekeeper is serviceable as a starter but the mac-10 knockoff you get kinda early is basically all you need. You only get 5 magazines and they go in 2 seconds but it utterly rips through bugs. Hunters, scavengers, even a warrior or two can fall to them.

The Sickle is good and the Punisher Plasma is better then a lot of people are saying it is. The dagger laser pistol thing is shit. The Arc shotgun is something I haven't used and have heard conflicting reports on its viability.

Mr Pipz, Takibo, Thiccfila and a few small timer youtubers Ive subscribed to are usually pretty good at giving weapons a decent shot before they say whether they are good or bad. Basically look for some solo helldive difficulty youtubers as many of them are pretty good and can show you how they actually use certain weapons.

Still find it funny that since we failed the last Major Order no one is allow to get laid. I'm enjoying the little in universe touch of the live service game more then I would have thought.
I honestly think the Major Orders are rigged out of the gate. It's the illusion of agency, when in reality it's 'we need x number of players to be playing the game over x number of days'. The devs know this so when it's a sucess for the 'story' the slider setting is set to 'piss easy', when it's due to be a fail, it's because the slider is set to 'half the people in known universe must be playing'.
 
does anyone know of a way to fix constant network issues? i got the game for a friend but we haven't been able to do a single mission before disconnecting. i heard the devs kinda know about the issue but i wouldn't be surprised if anyone here knows.

Maybe, but I believe this is honestly the first Major Order the community has failed. Usually there are so many players we slam them before any one notices.
 
The inconsistency of enemy spawns at higher difficulties is getting out of hand. I played on Impossible last night with a friend, first mission was a breeze and the enemy spawns felt appropriate and difficulty was challenging but rewarding. The next mission was an absolute nightmare and it was with the same people in the same operation. Every single patrol that spawned had a bile titan and every bug breach had two bile titans. There were about 20 chargers that I counted on top of massive mob spawns with double hunter armies spawning. We were all kitted out to deal with heavies and we had the extra 500kg nuke available and it still was nowhere near enough to keep up. We also know the spawn mechanics and avoided doing things that increase patrol spawns(splitting up, destroying bug nests, finishing primary objective etc.). It was absolutely ludicrous.

Another thing that is pissing me off is the bile titan inconsistent health. One guy in the match killed a bile titan with a 500kg that only hit with splash damaged and then another time I hit one dead center and it took an additional two Recoilless rounds to the head and an impact to bring one down. We had a PS5 player in our lobby too.

There was that automaton defense mission one close to the launch that was failed because people simply couldn't figure out how to defend scientists properly.
