We've liberated Tien Kwan and the Patriot Mech is available for development!

You must be level 25 to unlock it and 20k Req to buy it. As of now, it doesn't get any bonuses from ship upgrades.

For the time being any one can call it down so try it out.

Its pretty fun, feels a little bit fragile through. Its basically a mobile machine gun/rocket turrent that works great against the bugs but will probably get sniped by the bots.
 
Is this also good for grinding medals for the warbond? I want to snag the slugger but I hate the amount of missions I have to run through for it.
It's decent, faster than grinding robot exterminations if you just want medals.
Not to be rude but do you have a job lol? I can't imagine playing trivial for multiple days to get what amounts to 30$.
This was 3 hours total over two days.
 
Anyone else doing the super credits farm before it gets patched? Me and some friends have been going at it the last couple days. Made 3k so far and bought the premium pass.

Some youtuber made a video about it so I assume they will do something to change it soon.
It'd be viable if it were more than at most 10 credits a pop. Having to constantly reload the entire game, load the map and repeat for 10 credits sounds like the most autistic numbers grind I've seen since Warframe.

Yes, walking around the already needlessly big Helldivers maps just to hunt for two or three things and then reloading to repeat sounds like a great use of my time.
 
the mech suit is way too fragile in its current state, and you cant tell how much health the thing has before it explodes. You cant pin anything to the map while in the mech either, you'll blow yourself up.

Also they broke everything again. No medals or xp on mission complete, no difficulty xp bonus, and you get stuck when picking up slips and credits in bunkers. Hold off on playing it until a patch.

I'm asking because I've been playing for the past week or so and I didn't encounter the issues you described.

Happened as soon as Tien Kwan was liberated, so maybe a bug of some sort tied to the event? I completed a campaign on TK, got the notification we fully liberated the planet, and every match after was fucked up.

Slugger to the dick and leg joints drops them in 3 shots. Other medium-pen weapons need a few more. Liberator Penetrator needs half a mag if not more because it sucks ass.
 
I've been seeing a lot of posts about PS5 hosts making the game easier, letting you 1 or 2 shot bile titans with a railgun even on Helldive difficulty.
I have crossplay off so I've never encountered a PS5 player but if this is true I guess Sonyggers get an easy mode of the game.

I'm sure it could also just be youtuber clickbait as well.

If I have to deal with Walkers and all I have is a primary (no support, no grenades, nothing) I rush them and do a dive past them, then shoot the pilot while they slowly turn. Or find high ground to snipe them with my Diligence.

Honestly, one of the biggest game changers for me personally was getting the 0s fuse grenade that explodes on contact. I can clear a bot drop or patrol with just one throw (assuming it's only infantry and light armor). It's my MVP on bot mission besides my auto-cannon.

I've only tested the mech out on Automaton missions and yeah, you can get shredded pretty fast if you're not careful, even funnier is that you can get cross map one shot by one of those tower cannons. On bug missions the suit is probably a death machine capable of melting everything and turning the pilot into a one-man army, but with Automatons it'll probably force some coordination with teammates, marking and taking out rockets and such, having the mech be more of an APC/aggro magnet until we get actual APCs.

Bile Spewers
Chargers
Bile Titans
Stalkers

Bot rockets
Hulks (including flamethrowers)
Tanks
Tower Turrets
Bot MG emplacements
Bot artillery

I can believe it. I've one shotted them a few times and have never been able to figure out exactly how.
I thought it was something with timing the attacks, or having the perfect angle to get multiple hits with overpen.
I'll have to pay attention who's hosting when I play next

You can shoot a railgun into a bile titan's mouth while he's barfing and it should kill him in one hit, probably works for the RR and EATS too.

I think mechs should push people to play as combined arms. 1-2 players in mechs focusing armored targets and the rest serving a support role to make sure they're not swarmed. if they were immune to small arms I think they would be too strong and everyone would be in them all the time. My one complaint with them is that the arms can break losing your weapons, it feels too punishing.
 
Can't wait for the robots to reach Cyberstan, they're making their way there one planet at a time. Its going to be months at this rate though.
 
Servers still broke? I'm heading home and really want to play.
You're more likely to get in now, but you don't get any medals or anything when you complete missions last I tried a couple hours ago.
