It gets 3 shots off per minute if you're firing right off cooldown, making something worse to make a shitty weapon like the EAT or RR more appealing is nigger logic
What content are you playing where you need to be blowing up 5-6 heavily armored things a minute and nothing else you or your team has will do?

Most of the time I'm lucky if the tards on my team aren't running meme load outs like sentries or mortars, or just dealing with other shit. With the added bug spawns even lower levels can sometimes throw 3-4 chargers at a team at once and at level 7 and up that's an average solo experience.

When you're getting swarmed by gunships that keep blowing up the hellbomb, a detector tower keeps sending dropships that are dropping tanks and hulks every 30 seconds, and the orbital lasers are on cooldown because you just took out a large fab, you can bet that you need to make every shot count. On higher difficulties you're absolutely firing that thing off cooldown.
 
So instead of letting people reload the RR off of the users' backpack instead of having to lug it around themselves, which would genuinely improve that weapon and make it see more use, we have to nerf the fun out of another weapon. This is what happens when you balance by usage, and nothing else.
Maybe you're right, I hadn't considered it that way. The way assisted reloading works now is too fucking awkard, nobody does it.

The problem with the quasar wasn't that it was too strong, it was that there wasn't a situation where the recoilless or the railgun (or even the EAT) would be superior.
EATS has a good niche in how you can run other support weapons but call in 2 AT rounds as needed, or litter them around defence based objectives with their fast cooldown time.

You've convinced me an RR buff would have been more appropriate, but there is a kneejerk reaction to think something should be nerfed when it is so dominant and you see everyone using it, gets irritating. In any case lets hope they get it right in the long run.

Am I tripping or did this games performance on PC took yet another hit after latest patch?
They acknowledged it in their discord on patch day and are apparently looking into it.

We know some of you are experiencing performance issues on the battlefield after this day's patch. You're not imagining. Something is as off as a Charger leg after getting quadruple tapped by a Railgun. Our engineers are working hard to resolve the issue. We'll update you as soon as we know more.
