Damn son.

My bet is that we find a way to push the meridia hole back and toward the bug colonies.

I started playing this game again after I heard from you guys that it is in a much better state than it was in the first couple months, and I have to say I agree. I'm having a lot more fun with it than those early days, missions are much more reasonable, most of the weapons are in a better place, I'm very happy that the gas works now and I enjoy that they added a vehicle that the whole squad can get in.

My one complaint is that the railgun still seems like trash however I fully admit I never use it on unsafe mode and I don't really understand how that works and I haven't been willing to experiment with it.and that vehicle is a little too eager to flip over and blow up for my taste it's like the center of gravity is on the top of the thing.

Overcharging the railgun is pretty straight forwards. You can charge it for up to 3 seconds before it explodes. It linearly increases damage with charge and I have heard conflicting reports that damage maxes out at 90% charge, and also that the damage increases for the full charge. Regardless, 3 seconds. If you have a Logitech mouse you can easily make a macro that holds click for 2.9 seconds and releases for a perfect charge. When set to safe mode the only difference is that it stops charging at the usual amount and can hold a charge forever without exploding.

As for the car, yeah it has a bad case of weird physics. My main gripe with it is that this "all-terrain" jeep is RWD and gets thwarted by some fairly simple terrain at times. It also right now has massive oversteer problems on PC since there is no analog input to the turning and it is very unresponsive.

The only thing that's really starting to piss me off a bit are the bugs, and I'm not talking about our lovable bile-spewing friends here. It seems Illuminate missions are still heavily bugged especially with the extract civillians ones where the damn terminal won't work. At least the disconnects seem fixed since I've not gotten any recently on the squids.

Protip: If you're ever in a situation where the terminal is not allowing anyone to interact with it thus blocking the mission throw a grenade at it. Not a lot of people know about this and it causes hosts to ragequit. It usually works to fix it for some weird reason. I'm not exactly sure if type of grenade matters because I'm a scrub that uses impact 90% of the time unless I'm bored or memeing. Not sure if this has been mentioned ITT before so give me clocks if so, but I want to put it out there just in case.

I have not seen this yet, but admittedly with this last MO was during a work week I was only able to play at most an Op a day so I'd see that mission type maybe once a day for a few.

I'm sick of playing the same 5 mission types over and over again. If we have to fight the illuminate, can we at least get a new mission type? Perhaps a launch ICBM mission where the target is a city that's too far gone. The silo could be in another urban area, an integral part of it, revered in an almost religious manner as a symbol of democratic might.

Not gonna lie the bugs are the least fun to fight for me. I'm considering just getting a heavy machine gun with an ammo backpack when I upgrade the reload speed and cut loose.
