Helldivers 2 - Hell is more diverse than ever as PlayStation's demographics continue to grow and change.

New MO dropped, looks like they're stalling for storybuilding time again with a kill order, but I kinda like these MOs that are short sweet and don't require too much coordination though. I'm sure the bug goals will get hit first.

I am so happy that we lost a planet to bots and got the planet that created dark fluid destroyed because of the playerbase, why do people say the squids arent fun and then immediately play against a faction that will 2 shot you while slowing you down, i dont understand
That's because not everyone is a turbo shitter. Squids are easy and boring as all fuck because they have like 4 enemy types right now. The bots have a ton of enemy variety and can provide an actual challenge in a game that's been progressively made easier over time. At least the bugs are fun to mulch when you don't feel like paying attention to the game. Squids will be more fun to fight once the other enemy types start showing up.

I've started playing again, because I wanted some quick game sessions where I blow shit up, after a day of being a wagie.
I've been using the Spear, HMG placement and Dual-cannon Mech a lot lately and they're better and more enjoyable then I thought.
I've also become a bug diver nigger.

Maybe I'm just being petty but it irks me that they had yet another MO paused for days for "backend issues" and now it came back during the work week when there are fewer divers on for fewer hours. We hit the low tier goals but still have a lot of work to do on both bot and bug fronts, it was never gonna be an easy order but I think it's shit that they didn't reset the timer at least when they know fewer people play during the week.

I get it but it was always a long shot to begin with. Kill X automatons type orders just seem to be the bane of the community for whatever reason. Personally my headcanon is that we're just firmly in the "eat shit" arc of the galactic war. That's why we lose 2 planets for every one we defend even if we succeed with the MO.

I gave up when HD2 turned out to run like absolute shit. Has it improved at all?
Your computer must be pretty bad?- no offense. HD2 is shockingly light for a modern release. The steamdeck can handle it and my cousin plays the game on a 6 year old gaming laptop on low settings and it runs fine for him.

Rather decent, but I still prefer 120 fps when I play with mouse.

The game seems to be very CPU bounded, I had to switch to a Ryzen 5 4600g on a wimp and the game is having a hard time keeping up 40fps and above on high settings. I have an rtx 3070 and before the Ryzen 7 3700x crapped on me, I could play at 60fps with no noticeable dips on native performance and 1080p.

I'm perplexed you guys still care about the MOs. What do you even do with the medals? The last two warbonds were fucking worthless and I've unlocked everything else I care about.
The Ultimatum and Hellbomb backpack are God-tier, and the chad mask with hoodie is the second best helmet so far. You're tripping, diver.

I am now convinced that the difference between people who are worth a damn to drop with and those who passively or actively cause the mission problems is if they have an inner monologue in their mind or not. I have a group of buddies who if our schedules align and we drop together it all goes fine even if they get silly with a few hellbomb teamkills. They know when it's a good idea to pair off, they know how to engage, they know when to run the fuck away and throw down turrets behind them; but other people who sometimes join us are almost comically unaware of their tactical situation. It has caused some hotmic rage. "Oh why did he get in the way of my AMR round" -fucking retard standing on the dropship ramp at extract after doming my buddy as he's trying to board the shuttle.
