Do anyone else here run with anti tank emplacement?
After i got it its my main tool on bots.
Its especially great if you can get onto an elevated position to shoot down bot dropships.
Also, i can single handedly take out a strider convoy with it after throwing down autocannon turret to deal with the small enemies.
I very rarely see anyone using it, except in those missions where you need to defend against waves of enemies.

My usual loadout for bots is quasar jump pack eagle strafe antitank with smoke grenades and the cowboy guns. But I only do diff 8 on bots also so not sure how well that works on 10.

Yeah it seems like it has, im not seeing 30k people on a single region.

I cant play anything lower than 10 because its so damn fast paced and you dont get much breathing room.
For bots
I run with plasma purifier because it staggers entire small groups AND it can two shot aerial vehicles when you hit the same engine, revolver if something gets too close(and to deal with wounded hulks). Either throw distance/limb health armor or padded heavy armor(200 armor total).
Recoiless(so that i can change ammo type to HE to take out small groups if i need to run through them), airstrike, missile turret and anti tank emplacement.
If i have to play below super helldive or helldive il go quasar instead.

The anti tank emplacement is such a missed gem, on some maps if you get an elevated position you can shoot over walls of fortresses to take out majority of fabricators and all heavy gun turrets, from 400 meters away.
And if you are in a map that generates in such a way that you cant use it that way, its fucking amazing at denying an entire wave of botdrops(except maybe tanks, because they so often do that weird upward lift so you miss a shot)
Its so fucking bad on squids and terminids tho.

What i really hate is how few weapons are viable at the highest two levels due to mob density.
You can use guns outside of "meta" if you entire squad sticks together, but thats not very common in public play.
I really wish the heavy machine gun support weapon didnt have so little ammo, you essentially need to use two stratagem slots to use it.
Honestly it would be a much better weapon if it had just ONE more carried spare mag, or if the mags had 25% more ammo and to balance the gun was "prone only" to aim the thing.

I probably should go to lower difficulties and use more "fun" guns.

i agree. this is further evidence that they originally intended the game to be much more masochistic and only changed that when fans repeatedly complained about weapon nerfs. so there is friction in goals between developers and what people actually want to play.

I just wish the autocannon dealt more damage for well aimed and placed hits, considering how fucking long the full reload time is.
Ii read somewhere that arrowhead is consistent in only one thing: pushing out updates containing weapon changes without playtesting them

I have to respectfully disagree. I find that if you experiment you can make a build work for all but the most "off-meta" (shit) weapons. Like pummeler + liberator guard dog was a functional combo that I used on the predator strain a few weeks back. I think it mostly depends on the enemies you're fighting because some weapons are only good against certain factions.

Jokes on him. Since I updated to the latest Linux Mint release, I have redownloaded the game at least 3 times this month, I'm ahead of the game.
 
...Yeah. It always has. It runs out of the box on Steam with Proton. It should run out of the box on linux in general. Helldivers 2 is one of the top Steamdeck games.
Since I updated to Mint 22, something happens that makes the game window unresponsive when I quit to desktop and I have to kill the process which also corrupts some files, and I've to redownload the whole game as result. I'll rollback to 21.3 or try 22.1 and see if it fixes my issues.

Looking at the thread regarding the announcement about an announcement, looks like they might actually have... Oh, wait, I was on the helldivers2 subreddit. Though, the one on Helldivers doesn't look too bad in regards to the entitlement. I'll be damned.
 
So are there any new Super Credit locator/beam mods out there? The update that fucked all modded meshes also killed the mods for Super Creds, and obviously a banned mod is not gonna get updated, and I'm too retarded to update it for myself.
