How did they produce something that looks this much lower effort after a full 3d platformer? It's even a ripoff of animal crossing in artstyle and in other ways. The player character is even the only human among animals. The fucking text boxes are the same. What is with trannies and their sudden obsession with animal crossing? The cynic in me says they made a smart business decision at the time, knowing they could get extra eyeballs on following projects by not blindly following the sheep herd. And it helped they weren't the only game to have relations with Jon so the media shit storm could have divided attention away from them in some aspects. The crowd that cares for crucifixion are only ever thorough when trying to create a brand new target; news and stories around branded evil are often drenched in sloppier accusations and varying levels of giving a fuck once they're on the outs and haven't tried to beg for a ticket into the woke crowd.

Which leads me to believing this, too, is a smart business decision. This is a niche and they're catering to it. I can't speak for games on the Switch but a lot of these Comfy™ games on Steam are in early access forever, turn out to be utter shite, don't scratch the necessary itch for everyone, or get brought down by allegations and drama because if there's one thing the woke crowd loves, it's eating their own.

The sole human / furry gang cast immediately reminds me of Undertale and I wouldn't be surprised if that was the group they were hoping to cater to. Not something I'm interested in even though I do have a weak spot for pastels, but as long as this doesn't engage in some bullshit propaganda pushing and stays within the realm of "this lead character is non-binary because that's the new blank slate female Mary Sue player character for female-leaning games; anyway!" then I can't say I would have a problem with it from the little I have seen here.
