Here's what a 3090TI looks like poor fags

That power usage is insane if true. The 4000 series should be released around September considering past releases, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Chip shortages and all. Hell it took them a year and a half just to bin enough chips to launch the 3090ti. When I bought my card a regular 3090 was going for 2500-3000. It looks like that has dropped to 2K now that you can get your hands on a 3090ti for 2k. Who knows how long supplies will last though. I don't see them being able to start up a whole new production and manufacture enough chips to start a new launch with actual stock available. I hope they do though. My kids will get 4060s for Christmas.

I might upgrade to a 3080 Ti or 3090 in a couple years or so just for future proofing I guess. The 4000 series GPUs may have double performance compared to the 3000 series, but they require double the power seemingly and tbh that's really not worth the hassle for me. Also, I imagine not a lot of games will make much use of them when they first come out.
 
Worthwhile upgrade from any flavor of 3080ti? Haven’t bothered to look up any comparisons or data sheets. My 3080ti (it’s some lame Gigabyte piece of shit) runs very hot.

Every guy I've known that always buys the best CPU + GPU are miserable lonely wageslaves that have more money than they know what to do with. They usually don't come close to needing a top-end GPU, either. Better than spending it on e-thots or DSP.

I could be one of them but I'm too much of a Jew that finds it more fun building proper mid-range PCs than actual performance.

Agreed. I own everything that I have outright including my home. I also have zero debt and I have some cash and investments. My net worth is huge compared to most debt ridden Americans, but I live like a poor fag based on their standards because I actually live within my means.

I don't really have a good use for a webcam, but when I get done building with the 3090ti I will quit being lazy and use my hero 10 to take a better pic of the final product. It's time to upgrade my shitty years and years old phone. I'll probably buy a S22 Ultra. If anyone has any better non apple recommendations I'll hear them.

There are good reasons, in my mind, to pirate shit. You buy games, then you're in a slump so you pirate, then you buy again. I have pirated Capcom games but I have also bought tons of Capcom games, even the ones no one likes. Or maybe you live in a poor country and (((adjecent))) people are abusing regional pricing, eventually forcing it up to western prices, then piracy is also fine in my mind. Maybe buy it on sale to throw a shekel at the devs.

If someone pirates games because they can't afford them after buying a $3000 graphics card then let the cactus enter their arse.
