If you have a 1060 or better and you aren't mining you're a retard. It's free money. That being said, buying a 3090 TI for mining is retarded also. With GPU mining of etherium coming to an end and crypto prices in a slump the roi isn't looking great. That's probably why I was able to get it at retail.

you realize these cards are made for gaming right? people who buy these cards aren't cryptofags they are mostly people who want to game. i have been running a 1080 ti since its release it was the first card i saved up money for and bought and i never used it for anything other than gaming. if you use bullshit like salad or whatever mining software you realize they make LOADS OF CASH of your rig and pay you a fraction. which is really shitty because if you are spending hundreds just to have a mining op because god knows your electricity bills are fucking skyrocketing making only 1/4 of what you should be getting is a stupid fucking idea.
I've never heard of salad, but I can only imagine that it is scam software like minergate. Almost anything with a gui is a scam. Nicehash is the exception, but you generally get paid better mining to a mining pool. Nicehash is a way to sell your hashrate on a market to the highest bidder in return for bitcoin. It's really good when there is market volitility. I've been mining for years and have made thousands in profits (I've got thousands in the bank! All the bitches want to fuck me!! Their wetting their panties!!! They've got to throw them away!!!! They can't use them anymore!!!!!) and I'm a low tier miner. I don't think I've ever paid a dev fee of over 2%. If it wasn't profitable there wouldn't be warehouses full of gaming gpu's churning out etherium. The 3090ti is currently making me $3.84 a day factoring in electricity costs. It's all a numbers game and this isn't the most efficient card, but I didn't buy it for mining. I bought it mainly for the vram for training ai models with video rendering as a second thought. I'll damn sure take a free 1400 dollars a year though.

You're limited in what you can play by hardware and relying on torrent sites and ROM's and shit for content so you have to actually put in work/research to find good old games that you can nigger rig to run on your shitbox. I actually learned a lot about computers from having to make it work.
I'm a twelve pack in and I can form a better sentence than that. I gave two valid reasons for purchasing a GPU other than gaming or mining and there are many more. I'm sorry the only thing that you know about computers is that the most expensive shit gives you more FPS in Fortnite.

actually i just realized this is a ms-7317 from MSI that i think came out around 2007 ish these boards seem to be rare considering how these exact models on used markets are from the cheapest 400 dollars (obviously nobody is gonna buy em at that price) so this could make you some decent cash depending on where you live and well if someone will pay that price.
