Hit by Youtube's AdBlocker detection. Help needed.

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Despite using chrome I had the same problem for several days. I'm certain it's because I use Ublock, but for a while I thought it was just because I have maximum grade shiternet until I looked at other websites and realized only youtube was doing this. I plugged in that code that blocks it and now it works fine.
It's pretty absurd how childish and immature these billion dollar companies are. They try and force shit in your face and when you naturally avoid it out of primal instinct they just start spraying Agent Orange all over the fucking place in the hopes that your experience becomes so miserable you just swallow it. No popup telling/asking you to turn off the ad block, just straight up sabotage.
All this fuss for a 2% bump in revenue is retarded until you realize they just want to turn their customers into brainless, helpless cattle that do nothing but eat slop and watch ads all day.

Not exactly on topic for the thread, but it's still pretty important in regards to youtube fuckery.
Apparently if you use Youtube on FireFox, there's a chance it'll add an artificial 5 second delay to watching videos, but if you spoof it to fool the site into thinking you're using Chromium the problem goes away.
Not just Firefox. I use Brave and the same thing has been happening on and off for a little over a month now, before the AD block tom-fuckery. I brushed it aside thinking it was Just Brave bugging as it does sometimes, but now It's confirmed to be JewTube doing this. I commonly this is happen when I open a video in a new tab.

I recently sat down at someone else pc and opened youtube without any adblock and I was amazed how many ads there are on the site. Not just on the videos(2x 15 seconds ads which you can skip after 5 lmao) but also side panel which is dynamic and changes to one click BUY NOW with ads. I can't see myself ever using it without adblock. It's a nightmare. Joah is right. Advertisers can eat shit.

Back when I used to use that YT site, UB could block over 1000 elements.

(also looks like YT is turning into a website of the world of Idiocracy)

This is why I have a hard stance against using Firefox, ever.

tl;dr fuck that company and fuck their software. More than anything Mozilla looks like a way for google to both keep regulators off their back, and funnel money to anti white, pro tranny groups.
That was quite the read. I remember I've once visited one of Mozilla's websites and saw a disgusting fat sheboon (that thing was so obese I cannot tell), this was before I've become completely aware on liberalism, so I shrugged it off. Nowadays I notice antiWhiteness in many parts of media and networks, so this article made the explanation on the image of the shegroid(?).

Going back on topic, it's obvious why would Google backpedal on a small source of revenue just for more ads, but taking this kind of measures is quite concerning. Like, nothing seems to be hurrying them up, on the surface. Though, I'm not surprised, knowing the certain people that are in front and behind these companies. Nowadays the only way I use their services is mostly YouTube and rarely any other thing from them if such need arise.

With these companies, i’ve noticed they enact change like how you’d boil frogs. You don’t throw them in boiling hot water, you throw them in luke warm water and gradually increase the pressure. Gradual changes that make people a little upset but not enough that people will move away from the platform.

Hop out when it gets warm, gentlemen. Otherwise you’ll be sucking the tranny dick and watching hours of pointless YouTube shorts.

Louis Rossman has posted a video today talking about it and I'm kinda convinced by his argument that it might not be YT doing it purposefully.
FWIW I tried checking it on my computer using Firefox and Brave, with and without ublock origin and there's no discernable difference.
I'll also take this opportunity to shill his app Grayjay

As usual this guy can't go 5 seconds without spewing misinformation because he is absolutely clueless despite the way he portrays himself.

The code for "detecting firefox" does not actually exist, but rather there is code for detecting ad blockers. This affected all browsers. I checked in Chrome and the adblocking code he showed is there too. The user agent trick probably only worked because the feature had not been rolled out to 100% yet.

Then he falsely claims how removing MV2 will kill the functionality of adblockers, despite it not doing that. Content blocking still works exactly the same on MV3 and there is a new API you have to use for blocking network requests.

Of course his audience is just as clueless as him so you won't see people correcting him as this niche of internet will latch onto any story where Google does something "bad" and instantly believe it fully.

Would you look at that, that video from mental faggot posted on the last page was wrong, that 5-second delay in loading a youtube page/video? Not browser-specific, but adblock-specific.
“In the past week, users using ad blockers may have experienced suboptimal viewing, which included delays in loading, regardless of the browser they are using,” YouTube communications manager Christopher Lawton wrote in an email. Lawton wrote that disabling the ad blocker should resolve the issue, though users “may still experience a temporary delay in loading” until their browser has refreshed.
Lawton also said that users will keep seeing issues like this as YouTube’s ad-blocker detection methods improve.

If all else fails (Brave never bugs on me, mobile, desktop), you could just close and reload the video and skip the ads after a couple of tries. Works on consoles, smart TVs, the app, everything really.

You never HAVE to watch jewtube ads.
