Fun, but kind of easy given how much foliage cover there is everywhere.

oh yeah, squeeky kiwi

you also cant earn objects after completing a mission so you'd have to download a save file with all the objects on it

but where's the fun in that?

Having to re-unlock everything in Hitman 2 was the main reason I only played through it once tbqh

I didn't even realize you could use other saves with the online DRM. Wish I would have known that a year or so ago...

What does it lock out? The shitty escalations and elusive contracts?
Everything regarding ingame progress except the maps iirc. You can't get new gear, you can't bring gear you already unlocked into a level, you can't change your starting point or starting outfit. You're playing a gimped version of the game if you don't hook up to the internet. Awesome to do for a singleplayer game and totally makes sense.

The system for unlocking things is also retarded for a hitman game. It's basically "do ingame achievements to unlock gadgets and weapons for this mission only". I'm not someone who goes after achievements, I've always found that boring, but in nu-hitman you're forced to if you want certain gadgets on a mission, which you sometimes need to unlock other "achievements" to get the gear you actually want.
Further, if you skim the achievements or challenges or whatever they're called, it spoils some of the map and interactive aspects of it that can be used for your hit or as a distraction, instead of you just finding it naturally. It's such a weird thing to add to Hitman and not a good one.

Oh yeah guess that makes sense.

I'm not going to lie I hated the unlock system in Hitman. I much prefer the blood Money system of getting money (points) for your ability and buying the unlocks you want.

The fact they expected me to do it all over again in Hitman 2s "remastered" levels pissed me off to no end.

The fact I dipped out seems smart because I hear they are remastering all those levels AGAIN for Hitman 3. Why the fuck did this need to be 3 separate games and not just addons or DLC?

Hitman is like an IQ test, and one i perform poorly at. I wish i was better at it, because the ability to perform asassinations in creative ways seems someone i would have alot of fun doing if i could fucking manage it.
