I'm circling back to Welcome to Derry since I looked up the forms that were featured and some just come off as monsters seen in creepypastas. I guess this is what happens when you can't use IPs like in the novel.

I like the monsters IT turns into in the series, but, of course, not so much when they put the CGI effects in, during a chase, or something unnatural the forms do. It feels truly Stephen King to me.

To further enunciate my... contrarian-ness, I like the scene of Sesqui confronting IT in the form of an omen called a Galloo, who, because he has a hairdo that's thinning, or chopped in a certain way, makes him look vaguely, but not that vaguely, like a shadowy, Redskin version of Benjamin Franklin - 100+ years before Benny Frankie was an itch in his chandler daddy's pants:

I didn't think much of the IT show, but compared to Stranger Things season 5, it is a masterwork. The dialogue in that show is saying what the plot is and repeats it a number of times in case you missed it, because Netflix thinks all viewers are background watching what they make.

PUNISH

Just a reminder that all holidays are horror holidays, it's not just Halloween

Other killer plant movies include Day of the Triffids and Little Shop of Horrors
I forget if it's a plant but there's a Christmas episode of Ultraman where the monster blinds people like triffids only they bleed from their eyes to give an easy visual cue

I’m not sure if YouTube horror is acceptable to post here but I recently got into
MushTV pretty simple and surreal little videos with really low views. Would recommend 👍
