I hate that they turned one of my favorite books into propaganda. The blacks and the natives opposing the evil white people who want to unleash the evil child eating clown on the earth. Also, that Indian lady is the worst fucking actress. Her line delivery was just terrible.

The old Injun woman in Ginger Snaps 3 was pretty wooden, too. Overall, great movie, where the twist is, the legend of the Wendigo began with Canadian Werewolves, to narrow it down, and cut to the chase, and not witter on about it too much.

I was able to see The Shining in Imax last weekend, as I wanted to experience it the way Kubrick intended, not like how I saw it during Halloween.

I'm just gonna come right out and say it. It's now my favorite horror film along with Se7en and Silence Of The Lambs, and like those two, is one of the few films I've ever given a perfect score to.

I can only remember the episode with the pickle monster I like when he takes other forms, but pennywise and all creepy clowns have become such a big part of pop culture that it’s just not scary anymore anyway it’s modern stephen king so the rest of what I remember is his overly preachy mary-sue race stuff x2

To be fair, that is very high for IMDB. It places it at number 66 on the top 250 films for that site.

I should acknowledge that TV series skew towards higher IMDB than movies do, for whatever reason. So you can find a lot of funny things like that, if you compare fotm TV shows to major film classics. Se7en and Silence of the Lambs have even higher ratings than The Shining I think, so the people are on your side. The weird cult stuff I mostly like does pretty good to break a 7.0.
