I start and end everyday with a cup of roasted green tea with brown rice. One teaspoon of honey and one of milk. Very satisfying.

Don't add sweet anything to the tea. Sugar promotes the secretion of insulin then ghrelin (hunger promoting hormone which makes youAny tips of getting into it and maybe successfully replacing soda?
Says the homosexual.I drink cold brewed unsweetened lipton. Its cheep, easy, and tastes fine.
Warning about any white tea: the flavor is so subtle that if you have anything resembling hard water from your tap and you don't just use distilled water, the flavor of the water will overwhelm the barely detectable flavor of this shit. And you might as well just heat up your calcium filled water and drink that and pretend it's tea because otherwise you will get nothing from that shit.Silver Needle- Kind of spendy, but very nice as a treat. Delicate flavor, but it's white tea so people sometimes scald it not knowing they aren't supposed to use water that's too hot with any tea, but especially not this kind.
Genmaicha is fantastic. I don't personally put any sweetener or milk in mine; I only do that to chai.I start and end everyday with a cup of roasted green tea with brown rice. One teaspoon of honey and one of milk. Very satisfying.
The world of loose leaf tea is a broad one, so not all oolong teas are alike. I've heard good things about Floating Leaves' loose tea, but I haven't personally bought from them.lately i have been drinking exclusively oolong tea, usually multiple cups a day. i used to put 2 tsp of raw sugar in it before i realized that it fucked with my stomach, and started just drinking it plain which tastes better even though it's not sweet. i've only found the cheap boxed shit so far but i want to find some loose-leaf that will probably be higher quality.
Don't mind if I do! For black teas, I like Yunnan and I think Lao Shan, but I got that one from a company that doesn't exist anymore and I don't have the package so I'm not completely sure. It looks like the website you linked has a Lao Shan tea that is also sold on Verdant Tea - they have entire sections for specific farmers, and Mr. He is one of them.@Super Guido thanks for the recommendations. i think i need to educate myself on the world of teas and experiment a bit. at my old job we had a really nice black tea from spirit teas that had a very rich flavor, but was much more mellow than an english breakfast or similar kind of black tea. i think i may have tried spirit's oolong as well, which was delicious. i recommend checking them out if you're able.
Have you ever had barley tea? It's also called boricha and mugicha. It's good stuff if you want something toasty but don't want caffeine since it's not from the tea plant or mate. One of my favorites recently is Genmaicha, a Japanese green mixed with roasted brown rice. It smells a bit like popcorn
