Considering the frequency with which he's putting them out- and their subject matters- i'm starting to believe it.
It's a damn shame though. Max was one of the last bastions of decently-creative web animators who didn't do storytime shit or gaming stuff...

I recently saw a Tweet getting upset at him. I'm 90% sure this is a nothingburger but could be interesting mini-drama to document. I think I've seen other stuff too but I'm lazy and don't like Xitter so someone could try digging around.

Fuck I hate these killjoys. Whatever happened to the days when we could acknowledge that you can make racist jokes without actually being racist? Shit, some of the best nigger jokes I ever heard were told to me by a black man.
Shit, I'll tell one he told me right now. Don't remember it exactly but it goes something like this.
Little black boy jumping on the bed. His dad tells him "Don't do that, you're gonna hit your head."
But the little boy ignores him. A few minutes later there's a loud thump and crying from his room. His dad comes in and tells him "I told you you'd hit your head. Now stop jumping on the bed."
A few minutes later the man hears the boy jumping on the bed again, and again there's a loud thump and crying. He goes back in and tells the boy to stop it.
A few minutes later he hears the boy jumping on his bed, but this time there's no thump and no crying as the jumping stops. The man's wife says "You should go check on him, see if he's okay."
The man doesn't even look up from his newspaper as he says "He's fine, I put Velcro on the ceiling."

I've been catching his Omori streams as background noise for my studies. His voice acting is very nice, he's really talented in a lot of ways, but HOLY HELL is his audience braindead. It's a bunch of retarded zoomers spoiling literally everything (I don't know much about the game but they keep backseat gaming) and jumping at every slightly off-color comment he makes.
He said a character that got stuck in a tree stump had a fat ass insultingly and they were all like "omg noo max she's 12!!!!" He acknowledged it, and said he didn't meant it sexually and that he was a fatass as a kid, but the next stream they kept bringing it up CONSTANTLY.
Stop implying the streamer you're actively watching and giving money to is a pedophile, jfc. They also constantly seethe if Max ignores chat when they tell him what to do lol.

I checked out Max's streams before and I thought they were terrible. Its zoomer garbage streambait games and nothingburger commentary. This might sound conspiratorial but I think he's playing like shit on purpose for engagement too. He acts a little too obtuse. Completely soulless stuff.

The guy Is definitively a talented Animator. But I understand why he is trying to do streams. It must take him an insane amount of work and effort, and YouTube doesn't reward that effort.
It must be soul crushing to work on an animation for months and get crushed by a lazy penguins face cam nothing burger video. That being said, his whole appeal was his animations. I just checked and he does have a leftover audience from his animations. It's better than I expected. But he is not getting outside the "niche" status anytime soon.
As a streamer he is a small fish but he is not getting big leagues famous It's painfully obvious his talents aren't there. He went from amazing edgy animator to mediocre streamer
