If it's only a month, why? I don't see the point.

Do what you think is best for your mental health, my dude. I dropped out of higher education for my health’s sake and I’m doing a lot better for myself outside of it-I can’t comment on your circumstances personally, but weigh up the pros and cons and do what’s best for you.Currently debating whether I should just drop out, even though I only have a month left in my last year of hs. I seriously can't take this shit anymore. I know it'll make getting a job 10 times harder, but I honestly don't care at this point. I just have zero motivation to do any work at all.

Formal education isn't for everyone. I couldn't function in grade school and I couldn't function in college. I never graduated highschool. I still get loads of job offers, have marketable skills, and I'm considering opening my own business sometime this year or next. That being said, some drop outs are just straight up lazy or dumb and never amount to anything.Currently debating whether I should just drop out, even though I only have a month left in my last year of hs. I dropped out of college due to being unable to discipline myself to attend classes. I also just hate the schooling system. Managed to get an entry level job and have since moved up and gotten better ones. If you don’t care about making good money then college may not be for you. If you’re interested though, finish HS and go to a trade school, it’s definitely a lot better than getting a minimum wage job if you have some sort of applicable skill from said trade school.Currently debating whether I should just drop out, even though I only have a month left in my last year of hs. Stick it out. People will shit down your neck the rest of your life if you have a GED, much like the completely unwarranted respect they have for college degrees from "good" colleges.Currently debating whether I should just drop out, even though I only have a month left in my last year of hs. The second shot regularly fucks up the week of people who take it. I've only heard a few in my social sphere who have not gotten ran over by it and they were the incredibly NEET types beforehand. Not saying this to freak you out, it's just a genuine fact of the vaccine and taking it. Weigh if you feel its worthwhile to get the second dose or not with that knowledge, there's a decent number who've decided against it because of how badly it hit them.Last week, I had to deal with the somewhat after-effects of the first dose of the COVID vaccine. Plus, it doesn’t help that I had to also deal with allergies that affected my eyes in ways in which I never had to deal with possible.
Now for the next two and a half weeks, I’m waiting to get the second dose, and I fear it might get worse before it starts.![]()
I remember with the first shot I had to stay in the house for a couple of days since the physician said it could last for four days, though again, it might have to do with possible allergies due to pollen in the air.The second shot regularly fucks up the week of people who take it. Most who have taken it described it as the worst flu they've ever experienced, a small number have even said it was worse than the actual virus they experienced. Most in this case were taking the Moderna. Naturally this is anecdote so I'm not going to pretend its all hard evidence. Most of what was described doesn't sound like heat would necessarily make it worse but who even knows with the suite of allergic responses from them.I remember with the first shot I had to stay in the house for a couple of days since the physician said it could last for four days, though again, it might have to do with possible allergies due to pollen in the air.
With the second one in the middle of May, I’m more worried on whether the hot weather and after effects of the shot could play a role in making me dizzying than the first one.
I had to take the Pfizer, so I can’t speak for Moderna, nor Johnson and Johnson since they had to recall initially before it was brought back to the public.
To think I used to consider it heinous to have to buy scantrons and blue books.Pretty sure I should have clicked 'save' somewhere on the form I submitted for an online exam, so I now probably have 0 answers. Oh well.![]()
