Had the most unfortunate thing happen.

I spilled a couple drops of coffee at my desk..these drops went down an odd crack in the center and through vent holes in my PC perfectly onto my gpu, which caused the gpu to short perfectly into the tampered glass viewing panel which caused the discharge to SHATTER the glass across my leg.

Everything else is fine but the panel is busted and the gpu is fried. I could spring for another but I really don't want to spend that money right now, meaning I have to find another hobby. I had a 1060 in it and the machine is only around 5 years old. Sad day. Gotta take better care of my things.

That's some Rube Goldberg machine shit

Is your leg ok tho? I figure it is or you wouldn't be mainly talking about whether or not to replace the GPU.

Couple scrapes, most occurred from walking out of the mess since I was barefoot. I was too shocked to feel much though I did end up picking glass out of my foot despite going over 8 times with a vacuum after the initial pickup. Very annoying.

My parents' marriage is dissolving secondary to dear old mom's screaming borderline personality disorder. I have superficial, fragile relationships with my remaining family. My closest friends are moving to a different country. I feel like a ghost.
I do have a lot of things to be thankful for, and I can improve my situation. It will be ok. Hope everyone out there has some warmth in their life.

Unsettled.

Even though KF has a future, the actions against it is emblematic of the state of our society. In the face of curated left-wing social media or dogmatic right-wing sites, we have KF, unabashedly uncensored. A lot of cows are milked for being fundamentally laughable, like Adam White & Jack Scalfani. But, this site has also shined light on actual depraved monsters who have ruined countless lives and haven't been able to get their fine-toothed combs into this last free bastion. Entities like Channel Awesome, Nicholas Gyeney, Isabella Loretta Janke -- and fucking Keffals, who sidesteps about child-grooming, even during his victory dance.

Otherwise, I'm alright. Even on my worst day, I'm still not Serotonin/Washizu Iwao.

Bit of a doomer mindset rn, ngl.

Genuinely feel a bit powerless. I know that it doesn't matter whether something is right or wrong. The mob will take down whatever the mob leaders demand. And probably even more worrying, truth or lies also don't matter.

The mob will do as the mob pleases. If you try to stick up for victims of this mob, well, don't tie your real life identity to it otherwise you'll ruin your life.

This reminds me of the same frustration that leads many young people to just disconnect from politics, cause it sure as hell feels hopeless.

Same, but with me, I was watering my lawn while looking at the flowers bloom in front of my yard. There’s kind of a relaxing moment where you don’t have to worry about anything else when watering plants, even if it’s only for 30-35 minutes.
