How are you doing? - Kiwi Farms Wellness Check

Those people are reaching out for support. I've been trying to reply to people sounding really depressed so they don't just get ratings and feel ignored.

I wasn't referring to people in this thread.

Rather, I was expressing in this thread that the content on the farms sometimes gets me down.

Better. Slightly.

I had an emotional outburst quite recently because of irl took a lot of the good part of myself out off me in a month span, things got me overburned and mentally exhausted for a lot of reasons, let alone that some stuff keep bothering me for a buncha years and keep reminding of itself even when I try to either forget it or ignore it whatsoever. I'm not gonna apologize nor looking up for gay ass excuses for the thread I made when outburst happened, I knew what and why I was doing.

At least all of family members are healthy, so that's a relief.

My uncle passed away early this morning. He was my mom’s brother, and she’s not doing so good herself these days so the news really took an extra toll on her. Not sure who might need to hear it, but two things I’d like to say: if you’re an older person, make sure you get regular heart screenings, heart disease will creep up on you with you none the wiser until it’s too late. Second, tell your family you love them, you never know when it’ll be the last time you’re able to do so.

Sorry for your loss.

One of our kids had to go through a traumatic-to-them but genuinely minor and low risk medical procedure, I'm still all flustered about it tbh. Having kids really is just like having a part of your heart ripped from your body and for it to be walking out in the world, and any time something happens to them that scares, hurts, or otherwise preoccupies them, it's this awful and all-consuming sinking feeling that's really hard to shake off. He's been really clingy and fell asleep very early after a day of lounging around up against me and reading from his favorite books, I'm probably going to stay out next to him on the couch tonight to make sure he's fine and comfortable because I'm scared of hurting or scaring him whilst moving him to his own bedroom.

Ralph Wiggum by The Bloodhound Gang is my mental breakdown song. I listen to it on repeat and just spiral. One time I did this for two days.

I'm listening to it and smiling, lately. I feel like my life has changed, it'll never be the same again, and I don't regret anything.

Feeling like not sharing my art online anymore.
There's no point when you either encounter apathy at best or greedy patreon shills who have their head so far up their ass they can talk through it and just spam that fucking ban hammer so much they need their hand smashed with one.

Total Discordnigger Death

The mod sharing site is alright though.

That's why you try to raise your kids to be as strong and wise as possible, so they can handle what life throws at them without always needing your help

House is going well per my previous posts, but I noticed yesterday when my wife was showering that the rear garden drain/gully was overflowing. Went out to inspect it, some frothy/goopy residue, vaguely smells of shit. Fantastic.

Tried to dislodge the surface mess, boiling water + baking soda and vinegar, didn't make too much of a difference. I'll have to quite literally get my hand in there tomorrow in an attempt to clear it. Failing that, call out some professionals.

I'm assuming this is because the house say empty for ~9 months prior to my purchasing. We've also had some heavy rain recently, so that may have played a part. My wife uses wet wipes occasionally, but they're the flushable kind. Given the house was built almost 200 years ago however, drainage probably can't handle them in any capacity.

Any seasoned homeowner got advice? I'm basically planning to wrap a garbage bag around my hand up to the elbow, then fish out anything I can. It's gonna SUCK, but it is what it is.

Yes, it's definitely something we prioritize as part of general life skills, but I'm happy to baby a scared, hurting child who's no older than the youngest Rekieta child. He was very brave during the procedure as we weren't allowed back there, and that's as much strength and wisdom as I'll ask of someone who still requires some form of supervision around bath time.

We have a great, modern drain system and we still don't flush even flushable wipes- I asked the plumber when we had him over a few years ago as I was gearing up to potty train our first, and he said he sees a lot of issues even with those not dispersing properly after flushing. We've had one clogged drain issue in the past, which my husband was able to resolve using something that's apparently called a ''drain bladder'', so that might be something you could look into.
