How are you doing? - Kiwi Farms Wellness Check

Can't powerlevel, but it's a liberal Yankee area I mistakenly moved to awhile back for a job.

The kind of agency tards that shamble around have exactly the kind of mindset of the antifa fucktards and 2020 protesters and it's no accident.
They get ahold of Chris Chan types early and teach them nothing but "self esteem" and massive entitlement under the guise of treating mental illness. If there was anybody sane left to care I would give confidential interviews so they can start the witchhunts. Tons of medicaid and Medicare fraud training "useful idiots" instead of actually providing care.

My hometown had a place like I described and by the time they got caught there was just decades of making useless people permanent welfare recipients.

There is a neighborhood like that here in Chicago, called Uptown. Most of those “halfway houses”, group homes, etc are concentrated in that one neighborhood, and it’s one of the worst neighborhoods on the North side. Real estate agents have been suckering young people into buying there for decades by telling them it’s a great opportunity to get in on an “up and coming area”. Well, in the 4 years I lived there I only saw it get worse, including the arrival of tent cities. No one will do anything about it, either. Like you said, they have more rights than the rest of us.

Well, it seems my husband and I both had Covid as suspected. He got over his symptoms before the test result even came back, never had any coughing. Mine set in a couple days after his and I’m still running a fever and coughing. It’s like a less-extreme version of the “chest cold from hell” I had in November 2019, which I have suspected was a different, earlier strain of the virus anyway. I don’t think we should have shut down the economy for this.

I've been detracting Chicago since the riots and I can see that Uptown and "Roger's Park" have the highest concentration of that kinda shit. My research shows that "O.n.e." recruits clients from "Thresholds" "c4" and "Trilogy" and brainwashes them into being frothing at the mouth activists. Well, I have a friend that works at Gatto that bitches about their clients as well.
That c4 place apparently has a huge embezzlement problem going on that's barely made their mainstream news. Anyplace I've lived nonprofit mental health agencies are hives of corruption and fraud.

Now that the semester is over I'm getting to explore the (small) city I now reside in. I feel more free to do so since I have no deadlines. I've done some Christmas shopping these past few days and have just been generally driving around.

I went in Gamestop for the first time in several years just milling around, looking for used physical copies of stuff I like. It's a small one, yet it had like 4 workers. I was the only one with XX chromosomes within a 10 mile radius, and needless to say I was very...popular with the workers. I got asked if I needed help like 8 times and left quickly.

A little lightheaded, I have a slight cold that is almost gone and I upgraded my PCs graphic card recently. I had some good take home butter chicken from a local joint I went to which tasted pretty decent.

they contacted me on snap today. the person they dumped me for dumped them.

i don't know what's going to happen, i'm just happy to have them back, even if it's just for this moment.

Didn't sleep well yesterday, was tired most of the day. Slept in an extra hour this morning...still tired lol

Visited some relatives over the weekend. Most of them have aging pets, one of them is completely blind while some others have gone blind in one eye. And a relative's neighbor 18-year-old dog died very recently.

I cannot handle seeing animals suffer and degrade as they get older and closer towards the end of their life. It just tears me up inside and I hate it. Honestly it's made me realize that I don't want pets like cats or dogs, because you get so attached for them for so long that it really fucking hurts when they go. If I do get a pet, it'd probably be something like a turtle or a parrot, something that's gonna outlive me and I can pass them on to my children or something to that effect.

I dunno, just seeing all that put me in a bit of a down mood.

I am a big fan of pets also. But these critters don't worry about death like we do.
They live for the moment, and simply don't question the joy of being alive.

Don't let their shorter lifespan put you off having a dog or cat as a buddy.
Everything ends. But that doesn't stop us enjoying the journey.

I won some shit in one internet contest. Turns out, they can't deliver the prize to my country. Otherwise, I am in that shitty state when you aren't depressed or desperate, you just feel and seek nothing. I mean, even hunger barely annoys me to deal with, I eat just because I know it's not gonna end well. Hope it's just because I haven't seen the sun in almost a month, because of fucking clouds. Take care.

Well, NY passed a law making the Covid vaccine mandatory if "not enough people" take it voluntarily. With 2-weeks of lockdown approaching almost a year now, my outlook of life has been in decline. I always have an overwhelming sense of dread and despair, with constant bouts of anger and depression.

Idk, must have to do with being treated like cattle everywhere I go. This has only exacerbated my problems with alcohol. I've become verbally abusive towards people who are just eating-up this fucking propaganda. I also can't sleep most nights, even though I feel tired.

The only person I know who lives in New York, and I mean actually know rather than "ForumUserXYZ I have chatted with lives in NY", said to me last month "We're lucky in New York to have Andrew Cuomo. He's our governor". He doesn't know my politics nor that I as a non-American would even know who that is. He had just asked a question about Covid in my country conversationally and he followed it up with that!

I can barely fathom the world view that would produce such a statement.

I'm sorry for how you're doing. You ain't alone - there's a lot of us. We're just scattered. I'm sure there are people who share your view even in New York, though. Go along to somewhere or some event you'll meet people who aren't eating up that propaganda. A few hours in such company will help. Good luck!

Some of wife's friends, who are foreigners, like Cuomo because of his Corona response. I doubt that they follow politics at even a fraction of how I do, because he's gotten so many people killed and impoverished with his response. They also believe these lockdowns will eventually end, which is goddamn laughable because even if this virus were to magically disappear, these governors will still enforce them. I told them they should go back to their countries to be with their families and loved-ones before it's too late, because it's only a matter of time before your not going to be allowed to go back. Shit, they're going to make going between state to state a damn near-impossibility.

People's optimism about these lockdowns ending must be like how a good amount Jews thought they'll be able to re-open their businesses or go back to their homes eventually. Right up until they were hoarded onto the cattle trains.

Honestly, that's where I think this is heading. Being sick will be a crime, and anyone who tests positive for this virus (where false-positives are a 70% occurrence), you will have to forfeit your property to the state, and will be placed in a FEMA camp where activities include being poked and prodded by "front-line workers", and breaking rocks or something.

I feel slightly better than yesterday, fewer symptoms but very tired. A good day to rest under blankets and watch Scientology documentaries, as one does

I over-strained my achilles tendon again (:_( I'm wondering if it was from the weather being colder than it has been and the temperature is giving my muscles trouble. I strained it this summer and was fine in a little over a week, so I'm going to do my stretches, use muscle rub, and wear my brace as needed. Hopefully that will be the trick. It sucks because it's on the foot I push with while skateboarding, so it hurts like hell to ride.
Better news is that I've been making a ton of art and a ton of good holiday treats. The latter might become a problem if I cant run, but there's still weightlifting!

I'm finally getting off sedatives (RCs, then 3mg, now down to 2.5mg Klonopin/day on my own hand currently) and going to outpatient rehab/seeing an addiction specialized psychiatrist.
It's fucking hell and it's barely started, hopefully the doc provides me with some useful meds to endure this shit.

If I manage to do this, I should be free from withdrawals sometime around the beginning of March.
I'm pretty much homebound during this time so I hope I can score some heroin or something for NYE so it doesn't totally fucking suck as I can't drink. (possibly ever again... and I'm in my fucking early 20s)
