If you want to be a normie, get a business degree, goon your brains out, worship celebrities, eat nothing but potato chips and fast food, adopt a bizarre extreme political stance, speak in pre-packaged references and quotes like a hellish version of Darmok and Jalad (as I just demonstrated), post on Reddit and Xitter, and obsess over media consumption (reading is fine doe). Don't create anything or pick up any hobbies, lest that lead you into the dark pits of hyperfixation! Scary!I'm early 20s with adhd and mild autism.
I've been working a lot on the adhd part utilizing strategies to avoid distraction, but I still haven't figured out how to attract more normies, though I can attract a lot of other autists easily.
How do I start trying to become more of a normie? What are the best normie activities, hobbies, shows, clothing, etc? How do I become more expressive facially and in my tone? Is this even something to strive for, or should I just seek out other not-too-retarded autists?
I was thinking of wearing more plain-colored athleticwear and getting really into cooking + some type of sport. Any other suggestions?
Elon Musk is a retarded aestheticfag normaltroon. He has always been the ultimate poser, and he steals the work of real autists. In fact, his picture would be beside "normaltroon" in the Victorian child's dictionary along with this picture:Look at Elon Musk. Clear autist. But people used to like him. He was autistic and embraced it and that has its own charm. Of course now he's trying to be more normal and appeal to everyone and that's backfiring hard. It just makes him look cringe and highlights how much of an autist he is. Obviously there are steps you can take to work on yourself, and you should never go full autist, but I think its best to stay true to yourself.
Abuse stimulants, get a prescription if you can (Don't take the amount a doctor recommends, lowest dose possible and increase gradually until you get the right amount for you) If you can't get one, Nicotine gum/pouches (get the lowest dose you can) and caffeine are excellent substitutes that you can mix to achieve the same effect. This is not medical advice.
For me, it's beer league softball, which I actually take kinda seriously compared to other people.I was thinking of wearing more plain-colored athleticwear and getting really into cooking + some type of sport. Any other suggestions?
If someone types like this they are 100% autisticI’m not autistic, but i am, I think, a bit odd,
Drugs are for having fun, not for brainwashing yourself into an NPC.Abuse stimulants, get a prescription if you can (Don't take the amount a doctor recommends, lowest dose possible and increase gradually until you get the right amount for you) If you can't get one, Nicotine gum/pouches (get the lowest dose you can) and caffeine are excellent substitutes that you can mix to achieve the same effect. Pretty much every autistic person I am friends with is in that 10%, the rest are exactly as you described: incapable of reading a room and stubborn to an insane degree. The real problem with autistic people is the terrible combo of inability to read a room and pathological stubbornness.
If you can respond to “everyone is put off by your behaviour” with “okay I’ll stop” and not “I fully plan to continue until you explain to my satisfaction why it’s wrong” you’re in the top 10% of autists.
Normie is probably out of reach, but “not insufferable” is within your grasp.
