How do you deal with knowing that everything is finite and ultimately pointless?

I find it comforting that one day I will forget about how stupid everything is and find peace. People need to stop being so scared of death and realize we'd all go fucking insane without an end.

I just try to be the best version of myself that I am able even if it all leads to nothing in the end because at least I lived it. Don't dwell on these questions, you can make yourself better, start by straightening your posture and cleaning your room.

I don't want to sound like a shill for Marcus Aurelius, but he said this best:

"Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones."
