My current place is not that bad about this issue. Still, the best you can do is trying to get closer to the practical life. Perhaps adapt a more stoic outlook on life, why feel bad about things you cannot change. It won't change a darn thing, you just end up being miserable.

Not to sound all leftist, but part of things leading up to this might be structural. Even the nazis had programs for unwed destitute mothers, so it might not be a pure communist thing. I'm just against abortions that start with stopping the baby breathing as step one.

Yeah they're good fun. I work with a lot of Spaniards, Greeks, Slavs, Chinese and west Africans and they're hilarious, we all make racist jokes to and about each other. It's understood that you only dish it out if you can take it, and you don't do it if someone's not in the mood for it, and it's grand, everyone gets along. It usually provokes a conversation about different stereotypes and cultural stuff and we all end up learning from each other (and learning swear words and insults in each other's languages).

For example, I didn't know that in China, there's a stereotype that white people can't squat. We all had a friendly argument about it and it ended up with all the whites in the office squatting to prove we could, and then the (Indian) boss comes in and asks "wtf why are all the white people squatting? Get back to work you weirdos". Good times.

I checked out from most of the Internet myself. I don't like social media sites anyway.

As for the real life stuff, we really can't do much about it. All I can say is that maybe the "woke" stuff will be dialed back a tiny bit in the near future. Sure their cultural gains will be consolidated, but the excesses might be toned down for a while. I don't have much hope for it, but this is starting to hurt their bottom line and stability.
