Most people don't understand they don't live in free societies anymore. This is especially true for Continental Europeans. Euros have been sent to prison for shit they have said on Facebook and Twitter.

Even more importantly, Germanies hate speech law gives them jurisdiction to fine websites that do not comply. Since the kiwifarms now relies on a distributed hosting network, it cannot allow itself to fall under the German courts jurisdiction.

I've just gotten done reading Germany's hate speech law and its horrific. The Kiwifarms cannot, under any circumstances, allow this website to peer with a German IP address. To do so would open the person peering to mandatory jail time, and the kiwifarms itself to mandatory fines if it does not willingly aid in putting that person in jail.

Very right, you have a population that has been subdued with Covid "relieif and prevention" measures, which has further devestated the economy. Did you actually get some sort of police request? Did you get requests from police from both countries?
