I'm genuinely baffled with the strange vitriol from people who never even visit the DSP thread here, but this takes the cake.

As someone whose first real lulcow I ever had a bit of investment in was DSP and lurked around before there was a second main thread when the first one hit 10K pages, and has been around detractor circles, I can safely say the vitriol from people is completely valid

I would challenge you to go through DSP's thread from like, the last year and pull regular examples of this. I genuinely cannot remember reading anything like this from anyone in the thread in the last few months. I genuinely don't see anything out of the ordinary in the main DSP thread compared to all of the other threads I contribute in and watch in all different sections of the forums.

This is why I'm baffled. So many of the takes here about the DSP subforum just seem entirely out of touch with reality. It's like watching a thread full of Twitter users ravenously clamor for total republicuck death.

It's really disappointing to see Kiwi Farms users fighting each other, especially when the whole forum is reviled by tech oligarchs who want to see it all gone at every turn. I propose a solution that might satisfy both sides of the issue:

Keeping in mind three of the points that Null outlined.

• Lolcows should be funny without help.
• Committing crimes against lolcows is never funny.
• Deplatforming a lolcow is antithetical to the ethos of the forum.

A moderator or several, from outside the subforum, should trawl the subforum in search of posts that violate any one of these three points, and compile them in a list to present to the entire forum. I suggest this because it seems like what irritates both sides is the lack of precision. The debate here is characterised by broad statements that can be interpreted in many different ways, only further polarising the users.

The list would satisfy people who are negatively inclined towards the subforum, because then they get to be proven right, or at least how right they are. It would hopefully satisfy the people who extensively engage with the subforum, because then they would get to see specifically what they are doing wrong. It might be difficult for them to correct course if they don't know exactly what users on this site generally take issue with, so such a list would help them. At the very least, it would be more conducive to the debate even if it doesn't solve it, because obviously exchanging insults with the overworked administrator doesn't solve it.

The DSP subs biggest issue is that it is indeed plagued by Alogs that fuck up the fun of laughing at Phil for the rest of us. Though there are a lot of decent users that actually do contribute to the whole aspect of what makes Phil funny. What makes him funny to me is how he can completely contradicts himself, several times in one stream. The side scrollers interview and then the seethe and cope session after that was his funniest moment of 2023.

I just think that people do need to chill the fuck out though when it comes to Alogging Phil. Let him lie and grift, that is what makes him funny. The orbiters in his circle also in themselves are hilarious cows in their own respects. Why it would be a shame if that sub forum ended up getting eliminated. I think the faggots that fuck with Phil on that level do deserve their own threads archiving their antics. I also think the latest Kat reveal started off the year in the best way imaginable for anyone that laughs at Phil’s antics. That was genuinely funny to me and demonstrated how life in the snort fort has been for Kat.

Anyone that goes and actively tries to fuck with his streams by deplatforming Phil would have robbed us of that moment. It does perplex me though that people reiterate the same sentiment that Phil is some form of an abuser though. He just comes off to me as a narcissist that is a genuinely dumb and lazy guy. That just ended up getting lucky on the algorithm because he managed to monetize his hate watchers. Which if the people that genuinely seethe at Phil need to understand that lack of engagement is the only tactic in actually hurting him. So in all reality if Null did decide to deactivate that part of the forum, in essence he would be depriving Phil of the attention and potential revenue stream that the Farms does indeed bring into DSP “business.” I can say that reverse Pignosis is indeed what plagues the sub forum at the moment.

Also, I forgot to mention that does anyone here remember that time. One of the Alogs from that sub forum, went as far as to pay Kats sister for intercourse and proceeded to post some of the pics and his recollection of the event, then Null ended up getting tremendously pissed off about that. So there is a lot of insanity that comes from that part of the forum.
