It is harder for her to gain than it is to lose. 500 pounders need more than 3500 kcal per day to maintain their weight. They are not doing it on typical junk food American diet. They have to eat extra on top of "normal" diet of excess.
She would lose on low and lower calorie diet without exercise or anything else.

Continuing to overeat (for normal person; significant reduction for her) would cause her to lose weight without doing anything else. Fatty can't do that because she is a glutton who mindlessly eats. She talks about 28 Weight Watchers points in a single meal while other people are living pretty well on 25 per day. She says how grilled chicken is healthy but actually reminded Becks that she wanted "crispy" when they were ordering.
"I am done counting calories. I am done doing Weight Watchers."
Other things she is "done doing" because of her size and some things she still can do. Sort of.

She is right at the point where they argue with Dr. Now about how they are not following the diet, but insist they are "eating healthy" while still managing to gain weight. It is okay that she has rice, Dr. Now. She
