Assuming this Supreme Court opinion means what I think it does (e.g. general obligation to contract within the telecommunications sector), I do not think it is possible for Telia/Arelion to unilaterally terminate service to TerraHost, nor to refuse to connect it.

Nor does Telia have any upstreams that can be yelled to, since they're a Tier 1 carrier with lots of physical cable.

I guarantee you Dong Long Gone is gonna start his email campaign of terror whenever he wakes up. I provided two sample emails, you contact the abuse department and tell them he's running a harassment campaign on Twitter, link to the tweet along with an archive and screenshot, and also link to Destiny's article on the lies about the site and EFF's article on internet freedom and the farms and ask them to ignore his emails.

its gonna be really funny if every time they do this they are slowly chipping away at their credibility until one day they cause problems for the wrong company and end up getting banned from everything. cause lets face it sooner or later they are gonna mess with the wrong company and thats gonna be the end for them.

I think preemptively contacting the abuse departments Elliot and Sinseer are gonna reach out to with the Destiny Manifesto and telling them to ignore his lies is worth it.

Oh sweet, maybe I can finally view the random pics thread without having to wait half an hour for images to load like I'm on dial-up now.

Hopefully whatever Josh did is sufficiently bulletproof that Ms. Consent Accident can't harangue it out of existence again.

To what end? The specific claims being made ("this is illegal") isn't really something you can debunk like that.

Complaining to your own ISP about sites being inaccessible is logical enough (after they have been shut down), but sending "everything is fine" email are just gonna make them suspicious.

I do not think that it would be legal to refuse service based on peering neighbors, so it should be fine, unless there is some lolsuit involving a court order and so on. I guess they could sue Lolcow LLC in English courts and try to collect?

He'll still try to go after Cogent though, which could effectively split the big I Internet into two little i's again. Since KF will still have Spring and Telia the internet that's connected to the KF will be much bigger than the unconnected internet but some people in the US might get cut off again.

And it's not an "everything is fine email" it's an email that says "this person is a lunatic openly running an illegal harassment campaign on Twitter, here is there Tweet where they are planning this terrible illegal thing, please ignore them."

I been following this bullshit since the stream covering that mustached tranny and I am happy to see this site is back.
I believe in KF being important to the internet and society now.
Especially these days when the worst people somehow have the biggest voices because they have the power to strip people shaming them from the internet.
Seems things are changing and a lot of good is popping off now.
The sex pests are stumbling and their own support is rotting out from under them.
Now I don't need to use tor to burn up my free time.
