As far as I understand it, denying service is fine, it's when they blackhole it there is a problem. So as long as cogent cuts off 1776 cleanly, there is no (big) problem.

I don't see what's illegal about sending unhinged emails. If they actually send threats though, that would be very illegal. Great lolsuit potential.

Not to preach here, but I keep thinking there are so many other worrying things about life and the world today, and yet these god damned ghouls endlessly make a person scrap for even something that should be as dumb and minor a respite as an internet forum, purely because they have no other purpose for living, so hey, what does it cost them?
Then actual worthwhile human beings are given the choice of either dedicating their limited attention/energy to fighting over minor things they enjoy, or abandoning it to the insects and learning to live without because there are more important things and it's just not worth it.

Regular people can't enjoy things can't without being dragged into some kind of stupid fucking power game by empty sociopaths. These "people" need to just disappear.

Right, it seems like most of this stuff is done due to panic on the behalf of people who don't really understand what's going on.

I don't know for sure it would be effective, I really don't understand how these entities operate, but letting them know in advance that there is an ill actor going around trying to ambush providers to get them to pull the plug on a political/social enemy under false pretenses might possibly make them less likely to do anything rash? Idk.

Null discussed this in his last Rekieta stream, what Elliot Dong Long Gone is doing is textbook harassment and tortious interference, Null just doesn't have the $$$ to take him to court for it. If he had a million dollars he could definitely get Dong Gone in a ton of trouble.
