This is a decent but somewhat flawed take. Because of the possible real autism, these retards that you reference can't put themselves into the shoes of Null and Null either can't or doesn't care to put himself in the shoes of them. So you've got a gap of several years of experience, of trying to mitigate the threats to the site without trying to censor the content.

People who come and go do not have that experience, let alone the experience of Null in particular.
They are fucking stupid but they wouldn't be the first to be that online. Nobody takes responsibility online in a large setting. There's a technical term for this but it's related to the reason why people in a big city like New York don't stop to help someone injured on the streets while almost anyone does it in a small village. It's not that they are bigger degenerates (they are but its irrelevant) but it's because we shuffle the responsibility on someone else. Or we think our action is so tiny compared to the greater whole that we might as well ignore doing the responsible thing.

I base this on the trajectory of the internet since I started using it as a child. This is not the same web I grew up with. Worse, the generation is power in changing, and this new generation has a much more authoritarian bent. Do you think that this stuff won't be criminalized in the future? I think it will. But I think the cultural shifts that are headed in front of us will be the least of our worries. KF will probably be associated with "right wing terrorism" and will be used to be excised off the internet on that front. Null is going to get sick of this too.
