I refuse to learn how to drive

I don't drive either. I've thought about it. But I don't think it's a good idea. I'm worried about my eyesight and I don't think anyone needs Mrs. Magoo plowing into them while they're out to buy milk.

There's also a serious carjacking problem in my city. I look like a huge victim. I don't mind taking the bus or walking. I get around that way pretty well. My family did not have a car. So unless my grandfather drove us somewhere we had to walk or take the bus. I got used to walking miles because we didn't have enough bus fare because poor. I got used to carrying heavy groceries. I think a car might make me lazy.

Are you 12?
No. Have you seen how people drive? And I can barely afford an apartment currently in this economy.

Philadelphia citizen?

Fuck no I am not driving the streets of Milwaukee. Cars are expensive AF, I work from home and my partner does errands. Save a fuckton of moolah and at my age I have 2 pairs of bifocals I have to switch between. When I had my bitchin' Camaro I drove 250K miles on that thing, I'm done. I refuse to become disabled/die due to some crazy carjacking nog.

Idk bro, I think a fear of driving is rational. I don’t drive scared at all, but I also never fully get over the fact I’m controlling a two ton death machine. Add in the fact that x% of other cars on the road are being controlled by abject retards and it’s a pretty frightening thing. You just can’t think about this shit while you’re driving or you’ll put yourself in even more danger.

Those are some really weird reasons, OP. I never learned to drive because a license is around 2k yurodollars and i lived most of my life in poverty, even if i had a license i most likely couldn't afford a car (not with gas prices, insurance and all that).
Plus, as an arrogant bug hive dweller, i can always fall back on "Well, there's public transportation!", which honestly isn't even half bad around here and costs nothing if you decide not to pay, no turnstiles or shit like in other big cities.

From the same OP to give us such hits as: One example that demonstrates this is miscegenation.

OP: "I don't want to take driver's ed."
OP: "Age of consent laws are an immoral plot to overcrowd the prisons."
Also, OP: "Allow me to give you my galaxy-brained take on why I am a member of the Master Race and should be allowed to decide who sleeps with who."

This is at least an entertaining troll, if OP is in some area where most needs are met without a vehicle. Cars are kind of a pain, but they are fun and give you some independence if you can afford them. I'm a car guy, so I'm p biased in favor of them within reason. I'm a single dude with no need to haul shit around, so I don't need a truck or a sports car, but I like to have fun every now and then, so I only buy cars that can go fast if I want or need them too. Small, light, and turbocharged is my bread and butter.
Regarding fear of driving, I completely get it. It's not until you actually get a feel for a car and what it and you are capable of that you even belong on the road at all. Both defensive and offensive driving take time to learn.

Gaining appreciation of the power that comes with a modern car is one of the first things you learn to figure out in driving school. An astute student will have gained an understanding that cars are heavy, are controlled by throttle, brakes, steering, and possess energy to potentially do harm when safe driving practices are not followed. During that learning time it's important to really get a feel for the car and how all the bits make it work. With time you will hopefully be able to extrapolate your driving experience and be able to detect when crucial components are going bad. Of course with proper maintenance and periodic checks, you can avoid most issues due to negligence.
