People are split on whether or not anything he's said about his career is true or just an elaborate lie. My guess is the ladder as seen by how much random bullshit he makes up (wrestling stuff, stalking stuff, everything else)

I think some aspects he does fake, but him working as a software dev for Shopify and knowing how to code might not be out of the realm of possibilities.
He's talked about how he tried to teach his daughter programming, and there's a lot of sites supporting his previous work claims (granted, 90% of them are ran by him, but the info matches up on every site, no discrepancies).
My best guess as to how he got to where he is, is that he's just a tech burnout. Had a nice life, a wife, a daughter and the typical household. But due to his mental illnesses his family quickly fell apart leading to him to go down a dark rabbithole.
He's probably living off of scraps now, he just seems like a guy who had everything and lost it all.

I have to admit there is a slight charm to the way Foote is recording. I can't tell if its less or more effort than react channels. setting up obs or physically moving the monitor(tv?) and setting up a camera angle like you are beside the man himself.

dr kopper (as seen previously in the thread) has uploaded another video about Ian this time talking about his supposed history with the first asian woman he stalked named sara nguyen. it appears he found pictures of her and her bar and was able to write a somewhat comprehensive history between ian and her including 2 different arrests.
