Last summer when I tuned into this stuff for the first time, his subreddit had days where they would just shit on him and days where they would just post regular stuff. Even then, things were pretty negative and I expected he might lose his audience. Even Jim had commented that Ice Poseidon's fan-base was turning on him. I tuned out since then because who cares about this shit, but I started following Ice again these past few weeks. Literally everyday it's just post after post of people talking about how much they hate Ice and his manager, and maliciously attacking them both. From what I've gathered, he barely streams despite finally getting the "streamer house" he's been talking about for a year. A few of the more popular characters on his channel, each with their own fan-base within the Ice fan-base, have been kicked out of Ice's show/network. His average view count has significantly decreased, and he's been losing thousands of subs.

The fan-hate for him used to be a meme (saying "scuffed" about something that was still entertaining, decrying him not showing up or ending a stream early, etc) but his inconsistency, lies, and complaining really annoyed people after a while - over the past couple of years the arcs have been very reliant on finding a new person to be engaging and this pitted fans of one side-character against another as they variously lost screen time. It didn't help that Ice kept trying to keep his relationships private (including lying about them) when the whole point of his stream was him over-sharing everything, as well as it becoming repetitive and the phone-ins to anywhere he went annoying him and making his content worse. The whole model was probably unsustainable, and interestingly Zoie Burgher also lost her career with a failed attempt to make a streaming house, but admittedly she did it with much less money because she was paying the hoes to live with her.

I'm surprised he actually did it. The reddit has been his only real source of growth for over a year now. It was pretty stagnant thanks to the LiveStreamFail ban and reddit quarantine, but it still retained far more people than his sporadic low-effort streams ever could.

He built a community around trolling with an "old fag" hierarchy that meant new people had to dog-pile to fit in. He uses its machinations for content until it finally turns on him, and he just gets ass blasted and deletes it. Amazing.

Yep

The community (basically Reddit at this point) was and still is the best thing about his whole shtick. I don't watch the streams at all, but the Reddit usually has entertaining stuff going on. I have no Idea what he's thinking and what his plans are; is this some 4D chess move or his downfall? Like someone said earlier in the thread its a "slow trainwreck", so we will see in time.

They moved into an investor-funded mansion in Tarzana, Ca. last month. Ironically, the house is in a cellular dead zone and lacks fiber access. Despite paying for two different ISPs, the shitty upload speeds result in lag whenever two or more people are streaming.

The address was leaked after viewers saw the moving van on another stream and, pretending to be Ice's manager, called the company to "confirm" the delivery address. This resulted in the usual barrage of pizzas, Craigslist ads offering free cigarettes, and the house being listed as a homeless shelter on Google Maps;

People are speculating in there that he's laundering drug money through donations too.
 
In addition to the mansion, they've spent $70,000 on a custom military vehicle with the intention of dropping an additional $30k to renovate it into an RV/streamer truck. Combination 1984 M939 truck (a vehicle known for its poor safety record) and a short bus, they flew to Oklahoma with intentions of driving it back to LA.

Not that related unless you're into those spheres of YouTube, but Rooster Teeth's Cow Chop filmed an episode with him, supposedly being released soon.

They're softcore jackass, and very family friendly all things considered. They play games, eat spicy shit, throw furniture around. Them doing work with Ice is like, breaking every barrier at once. You know, when Jackass went from slapping each other to getting their bodies destroyed.

Seeing as Ice already accidentally admitted to the ponzi scheme, I wouldn't put it past SSJ to do even more dodgy things.
