Seeing backpanther and Johnny Five-Ace takes me back to a much grayer place, having parted with tenbux to be there. I know backpanther had that motorcycle accident and lost... a leg? An arm? Both? But I wonder, is he still with us? I was sad to hear "No you shut the fuck up dad" had died.

He lost an arm. He then used his insurance payout to buy a Porsche - with a stick shift. No idea what happened to him after that.

Yeah sad to hear about Kuuenbu. But then he was a real fucking loser. His entire life, a life where he could have been anything he wanted, where he could have achieved great things, made a name for himself, made history, will instead be remembered for one of the funniest meltdowns in internet history:
Seriously, I've seen professional standup comedians with worse comic timing than these 4 1/2 minutes, comedy sketches on TV with worse jokes and less absurd characters.

RIP Kuuenbu. I guess you were the one who shut the fuck up in the end.

You know what it is about these early to mid 2000s photos that makes them so weird and surreal looking? Flash. All those old shitty cameras overused flash so everything looks like a crime scene photos.

Kevin Havens and his Dora the Explorer fuck doll. Now that's a memory unlocked. He has a thread here but it's long been dead. He probably is too for all we know.

Fun fact about GamemasterAnthony. He's continued to make these birthday posts every year on that ancient forum until at least 2020.

The final one he uploaded to the forum appears to be in February 2020, when he announced he was turning 45.

Okay, it has been too long since I have done one of these so...BRING IT IN, GUYS!!!

*various Nintendo, Sega, Capcom, Square-Enix, Rare, Hasbro, Atlus, Marvel, DC, Neverealm, Blizzard, and indie game protagonists come in carrying a HUGE cake*

Oh wait...before we begin, I need to invite quite a few others. Excuse me...

*opens doors to Know Your Meme* Come on in, all of you...I want you guys to hear this too.

Now that we are all here, I want to say something...

I know it has been forever and three halves since I have written anything new and I REALLY need to get back to that, but first I need to get real life off my back. However, there is something about that I want to talk about.

I was never expecting Heroes of Arcadia to become as big of a thing as it was. It really just started as the backstory for a TTRPG based on the concept of role playing in a video game setting. I was surprised that The Gamemaster's Legacy would become (and still is, surprisingly) a big hit! This is still considered a mind blow to me. Self-insert fic was never seen as good in the day the fic came out...but it didn't matter as people still loved the story. (Despite me thinking the story is trash nowadays...but then my own tastes have evolved and I've become more knowledgeable about the lore of the various worlds since.)

This love and respect I have gotten from this is something that is truly touching. I know a lot of people who have either archived these birthday posts or have seen them have said I was a very special person for still remaining geeky after all these years. However, I think it is all of you who have supported me and showed this respect that are truly special. When I was interviewed for New York Magazine to give my thoughts on "Ready Player One" it was mentioned that the positivity seen in these posts and in the responses to them are a much needed respite from the negativity usually seen. That, to me, is something I feel we need more of on the internet.

So... *raises a pewter goblet towards the crowd* ...this is to you, my friends. Both my friends in this community and to those of you that have archived these birthday posts. Here's to you for giving a schmuck like me a chance to shine and making me feel special...even if I don't see myself as that special. Here's hoping I am still as geeky in the years to come...even though I have now become "too old for this shit". (Not too old for the geeky stuff...just "this shit".) SALUD!!! *takes a big swig of what's in the goblet*

Now that that impromptu speech is out of the way...LET'S PARTY!

PINKIE PIE: FINALLY!!!
DEADPOOL: Alright! Time to gorge myself on chimichangas until I bleat!
Sadly it seems that the last time he logged into the forum was in July 2023, so no idea if he died or if he got bored and left the site. Godspeed, Andy, hope everyone comes to your next party.
