I think she should do a Danielle McAllister (I believe that's her name), the YouTuber who is obese and says she has no intentions of losing weight. AL can claim she is healthy and happy and that her weight isn't holding her back except for the things she put in her struggles video. Otherwise, it's all rainbows and cupcakes.

AL fails to understand that when you have a major health issue, you have to be an active participant in your recovery. You have to spend lots of time on the phone booking proper appointments, tracking medication properly, getting tons of blood tests etc. It essentially becomes a second job. Doctors will help you, but you also have to help yourself. Doctors are insanely busy, they don't have time to hold your hand and do everything for you. It's why AL will never get better, because getting better requires effort and she's the laziest person I've ever seen. I'm kinda glad the doctor won't waste her time on AL when there are lots of people out there who need help and will actually put effort into getting better.

Not sure what AL is expecting from the doctor either. The doctor already gave her Wellbutrin and offered phentermine (which is questionable since amber said the doctor told her not to walk.. so doctor will give speed which can cause a heart attack but tell amber not to walk?). It seems she's looking for a magic pill. Even weight loss surgery is going to take work on her part. She just can't deal with facing she can't have double portions of orange chicken and rice, cheesecake and coldstone all in one night.

AL said the lexapro made her not care about being over 500 pounds but she was like that before. Like eating the pizza on phentermine even when she wasn't hungry. what did she think would happen eating all of that stuff? she wouldn't get to over 500 pounds? She should just be honest with her viewers. she wants to die doing what she loves and what make her happy even if it means dying in less than 10 years. She should move to Lexington to be closer to the Cheesecake Factory so she can die truly happy.
 
No reputed doctor will perform bariatric surgery on patient without patient actually doing their part. That's why they ask the patient to lose some predetermined weight to show that they are willing to do their part in losing weight.

And losing weight voluntarily isn't what I'd consider amber doing. She seems to think weightloss surgery is a magic wand and she'll be a dainty gorl. Well shit amber ,I don't even think you want to lose weight at all. A weightloss YouTube channel which she gains 100 pounds everyyear :story:

I think the whole reason our gorl doesn't want to lose weight is because she doesn't think there's anything wrong with the way she looks.

The selfies she takes, the thumbnail from this video, the constant HD eye-fucking....she's in love with herself. She isn't going to start denying herself her precious orange chicken and Texas Roadhouse trips when, in her fucked up mind, she's hot stuff.

All that talk about hiding behind a blanket is clearly bullshit as the last two videos she's posted are of her jiggling around like an out of control jelly showing it all off.

Gorl thinks she hot af. Why change 'perfection'?

There’s actually some that will only ask you to lose some weight to improve liver health, meaning the only problem is cost.

...but Amber is long past that point. A regular hospital bed supports up to 400 pounds, so she would need to go to someone like Dr. Now. He can afford to make sure that patients will commit to their weight loss. Not only is it better to make sure the patient is committed to their weight loss like you said, but it’s not as if patients of Amber’s size could shop around for a different surgeon. So few doctors would operate.

I think there is probably a doctor but she is refusing the tests he wants to do. A doctor can’t force a test upon you. (Though please note I don’t have any proof of this; this is only my guess due to my own experiences) I wonder if she is afraid of what she will hear.

Pretty much. As long as you don't go to the doctor, you can't have the beetus or sleep apnea, right?. No one is 550 elbees without the majority of the obesity related issues. No doctor will tell a beast like Amber ''you good gurl, you fine'' jfc is her doctor the Slaton's sisters?

Like Tammy said above, there is no doctor.

There’s a doctor - she’s seeing/has seen or there wouldn’t be prescription meds. That being said, her emailing her doctor for free medical advice is comical and most likely bullshit. Doctor saying ‘blood work (aka come IN for an appointment) because I can’t assess you over the internet’ is probably what happened if this email/text conversation is actually real.

I love how she claims the doctor told her not to exercise, yet she was jiggling around in that manic video the other day. At her size, that was strenuous exercise!
 
People think methamphetamine is a Schedule I drug in the U.S. but it’s actually Schedule II because it has a single medical use: to treat obesity. Phentermine ain’t shit; Big Amb’s doctor should prescribe her good ol’ pharmaceutical-grade meth. As it is, she’s in danger of stroking out any second; if our gorl were on meth the weight would be gone faster than Necky’s will to live. Heck, if it was good enough for her parents…
