now i think about it most of the posts phil caps from here are taken without context and presented in a fairly misleading way.

Considering that SS-based insurance policies tend to be very territorial (someone I know can't get treatment outside of Philadelphia, much less PA), how much help is she getting when she's in Portland full-time? How often is she in SF full-time? Does she commute once a week to SF? Where does the government think she's living?

She splits her time about 50-50. She's a resident of California. But I don't think she uses her medicare, I think she's only using her medicaid for California.

No, I've offered. I kind of don't blame her tho. I live in homeless housing with shared showers and they're disgusting, they never get cleaned.

Yeah... I'm not too sure what her reasoning for not doing that is. I'm on probably a dozen waitlists to get out of the program I'm in now.
