It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

This is actually a whole new step for the Tumblrinas though. Doing something like this, even though you know it could get you fired, is actually taking a step beyond slacktivisim.

Reactions: Educated Stupid
Say what you want about these people, they have the courage of their convictions.
They can just lean on mommy and daddy until their next worthless shit job.
Jerks probably made poor little Brianetta get the job in the first place because they didn't respect his lifestyle choice as trans-hobo living at home.

Personally not a huge fan of cops in general but I've had decent interactions with most the cops I've had to interact with. I've also had some really not so great interactions with cops. That said I've been in customer service and the business world for about 15 years all together and I would never not take someone's money or deny them service, because you need customers to make money. Doesn't matter if the customer is black, gay, cop, nazi, or SJW, all their money spends the same.

Whoever owns these companies where this happens needs to fire these shit heads, their costing them business.

Did you know it's a cop's job to protect everybody, not just the people the cops like?
I am very well aware of that.

I'm just frustrated that this "fuck the police" mentality that SJWs hold has escalated to the point where some of them are actually refusing services to cops. Yes, I get that police brutality is an issue, but how is this going to change any of that? Especially if the cops they're antagonizing are doing their jobs properly.

I didn't literally mean these people deserve to get mugged and not receive help from the police. I meant that they wouldn't like it if the roles were reversed and they were the ones not receiving services from the police. Perhaps I should've worded it differently.

A lot of Orthodox Christians from what I've heard detest American fundamentalist Christians and view their form of Christianity as stupid.

Let's not also forget the large Muslim population (especially in the Caucus Region) and the large Buddhist population in the east along the borders of China and North Korea.
Do they detest all Protestantism or just american Protestantism

It's not a great role reversal though because not serving somebody coffee isn't as bad as letting them get assaulted. Maybe a more poetic justice would be if the cops refused to serve these people coffee at police stations. THAT'D TEACH THEM

Protestantism in general from what I've heard.

Then again, Orthodox Christianity has had a long and rich history in Russia and most Eastern European countries and most the other forms of Christianity are seen as heretical to them.

I suppose that's true. Still, it's a stupid move to pull, especially to people who risk their lives everyday to protect others. These SJWs are so far gone in their anti-cop mentality that they forgot no one else will save their sorry asses if anything were to happen to them.

Is it really a trend though? I mean this guy was a dumbass, but like this incident seems to be at best a rare occurance.

A similar incident happened earlier at an Arby's. It's mentioned in the OP.

Two similar incidents is a bit worrying, but I wouldn't say it's a trend just yet. Hopefully it'll stay to just these two, but knowing the herd mentality of these people, I wouldn't be surprised if we see more of this in the near future.
