It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner survived a challenge in the Democratic primary that pit his progressive reforms against growing concern over a rising tide of homicides and gun crimes.

The primary was seen as referendum on whether a wave of prosecutors elected on promises of criminal justice reform - measures like shorter probation and parole and a curtailing of cash bail that disproportionately keeps poor defendants confined before trial - would be blamed for increasing violence.

Krasner addressed supporters in Center City on Tuesday night after winning the nomination.

"The second term, which is 4.5 years- starts now," declared Krasner to a cheering crowd.

The win comes after a bitter battle in the primary with former homicide prosecutor Carlos Vega.

"We are going to continue down a path that joins a focus on very serious crime with reform that is constructive for society," Krasner said.

Vega billed himself as a third option between traditional law-and-order prosecutions and reform.

"This was not easy for the (crime) victims especially," Vega said after conceding Tuesday night. "Please remember them. ... I am hopeful that my opponent will take them more seriously during his tenure."

Krasner's allies linked his victory to the movement for racial justice.

"Last summer, tens of thousands of young Black people took to the streets to demand we disinvest from our police force and begin investing in Black communities," Councilmember Kendra Brooks said in a statement. "The re-election of Larry Krasner is a testament to the movement's strength."

Krasner will be seen as the favorite against GOP challenger and well-known local attorney Charles Peruto Jr. in the November general election in a city where Democrats vastly outnumber Republicans.

Critics blame Krasner and other progressive prosecutors for the increase in gun crimes. Supporters have pushed back, noting that rising violence during the pandemic - amid reduced social services and economic instability - are hitting cities with both liberal district attorneys and traditional law-and-order prosecutors.

Krasner, a 60-year-old longtime civil rights and defense attorney, won election in 2017 against a crowded field by billing himself as the outsider candidate capable of making radical change.

"Our promise fundamentally was that we would focus on serious crime while bringing reform. We said we would do something about mass incarceration. We have cut the future years of incarceration in half," he said Saturday.

This Krasner idiot would rather have increased gun violence than put people in jail. He's pandering to the city's high black population and will likely win the main race because of it.

He's the reason why that sniper terrorized a whole neighborhood for seven hours back in 2019.

The whole city should be nuked from orbit. We don't need shorter paroles or cancelation of cash bails. We need to put criminal asses in jail where they belong.

I'm sure Philadelphia can't get even worse by coddling criminals even more than they already do.

Am I the only one who think then Nancy Pelosi recent flip-flop about China is a bit fishy?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi calls for diplomatic boycott of 2022 Beijing Olympics over China’s forced labor practices: “How sad it is to see the Olympic corporate sponsors look the other way on China’s abuses out of concern for their bottom line.”

There's a cool new shooting where a black dude blows up his home and shoots some people over racism (There's a big sign that reads "black people are the tool to maintain racism")
Baltimoresun has an article that's in my link but it's blocked for eurofags.
26 minute official police briefing
It happened back on May 8th. I'm not sure if it's because Baltimore is such a shithole that this wasn't bigger news, or because he's black.

You'd think a guy blowing up his house and having multiple other explosive devices would've been a bigger story.

On second thought, it was a police shooting of a black man that didn't cause another BLM riot, this was deliberately suppressed. God knows BLM has shown up for equally shit defendants.

Mom arrested after asking cops what to do about her son’s rotting corpse

A 76-year-old Japanese woman has been arrested after she asked cops what to do about her son’s rotting corpse, police said.

Toshiko Ujibe had called police Monday to the apartment she shared with her son in the Asaminami neighborhood of Hiroshima for assistance, Vice News reported.

When officers arrived at the scene, they encountered a foul smell that turned out to be her 53-year-old son Kenji’s decaying remains, police said.

“When the police took in the body and conducted initial screenings, we found that her son likely died 10 or so days earlier, in mid-May,” police officer, Hisaru Uemoto, told the outlet.

His body was lying on a futon and he had suffered multiple cuts to his neck, cops said — although his cause of death is unclear.

Police haven’t released any further details about the circumstances surrounding the death pending the results of an autopsy.

Ujibe, meanwhile, was arrested on suspicion of violating a law prohibiting a person from damaging, abandoning, or possessing a corpse, Vice reported.

“[Ujibe] seemed confused and didn’t know what to do, but we aren’t able to announce her motives in not reporting until we are able to confirm further details,” Uemoto told the outlet.

CLUCKING HELL My ex-husband fed my vegan daughter McDonald’s chicken nuggets behind my back – now she keeps demanding meat

CO-PARENTING with an ex can be challenging at the best of times - but add in a conflict over your child's diet and you're in for a world of trouble.

Take this mum for example - after splitting with her partner, the pair decided they would continue to raise their daughter as a vegan.

So you can imagine her surprise when her child came home from her dad's house demanding chicken nuggets from McDonald's.

Sharing her dilemma on Reddit, the woman explained: "I became vegan when my ex and I moved in together because he was vegan and he didn't like there being animal products in the house.

"I was vegan while I was pregnant and we've raised our daughter vegan for the past eight-ish years."

But while driving past a McDonald's on the way home with her daughter, the woman was left shocked when she asked if they could stop in for some food.

She continued: "She has a full blown meltdown demanding chicken nuggets. We get home and she's, like, blowing snot bubbles she's so enraged.

“She howls her way through a bowl of leftover soup. She hates me, I'm a terrible mum, dad would have let her eat chicken nuggets. She wore herself out crying."

The following day, the woman's daughter was "angry" at her for eating meat - and while she doesn't mind her having chicken, the anonymous parent said she was unhappy with her tantrum.

That said, the woman was fuming with her ex partner and feels like he should have consulted her - especially as McDonald's has vegan options on the menu.

She added: "I wasn't aware our hitherto vegan daughter was now eating meat and I feel like that's a decision that I should have been informed about.

"I called him after she went to bed and he told me I was being uptight and he didn't tell me because he knew I'd overreact, 'I'm controlling and I don't need to be privy to every single thing he does when our daughter is with him'.

"Also, from a dude who gave me a hard time for craving Oreos (which are f***ing vegan) while pregnant with her."

Needless to say, the majority of people rallied around the mum for support.

One replied: "You don't give them fast food just because they beg for it. And if you and your co-parent have agreed to a diet together, you absolutely should let the other person know when you change something."

"It's not okay to shut down communication just because you're worried that the other parent is going to be upset with you," another added. "The guy is 100 per cent the a***** for putting his daughter in the position of hiding something from her mother."
