My late entry.
Best Overall Contributions
In the spirit of "archiving everything" I don't think I've seen any person as dedicated to this craft then
@Kees H whose approach to archiving literal terabytes of live-streamed content from a variety of random sources can only be described as "professional".
Some highlights of past years antics
- Recording and saving every possible livestream he showed interest in.
- Novel crackhead detection algorithms to compensate for Bossmanjack smashing the "start/stop livestream" button every minute.
- Building fully automated reduntant backup systems.
- Providing fully automated, ad free, near 0 second latency re-streams utilizing HLS magic, (just out of spite for Twitch)
- Restreams of Discord only livestreams for the poor peasants who refuse to make a discord account.
- Being single-handedly responsible for a sizeable chunk of the highlighted clips in the threads where he posts.
Every possible user now and in future who would like to relive the memories of a prime cracked out bossmanjack will never have to be disappointed in a lack of archival video, thanks to the tireless work of a true professional.
*special shoutouts to the Odysee video ingest servers for putting up with a lot of abuse.
Edit: A very special honorable mention also goes out for @Flaming Dumpster who contributed enterprise grade storage solutions to the archiving cause, another real raw professional using his industry experience to find a virtual home for hours upon hours of only the finest crackouts seen online. This in combination with being a domain name connoisseur, tech support .expert and a fellow bot crafter make Mr Dumpster worthy of recognition.
Best Researcher
Many users on this site are capable of spending hours behind a computer screen sifting trough mountains of data, whats more special are users who can find time in their life to make a truly unique offline contribution without crossing the line of 't○uching the poop'. Last year has seen a resurgence in Kiwi's taking time to attend interesting public hearings, these acts should not be forgotten when discussing the subject of research. So
I want to highlight the entire sqaud that took the time to attend the Rekieta omnibussin hearing, not only did these people conduct themselves in a serious environment, they also helped a hand in posing for some very great images taken by some hog who found his way to the courthouse.
But among the lawspergs there must rain one supreme, a user who has not only taken the time to visit a public hearing once, but a total of four times. Even when faced with a courthouse located in bumfuck nowhere and bizarre last minute hearing cancellations this user still found the motivation to travel all the way down to the cow laden fields of Louisa county. The one and only
@lol cow supreme deserves a nomination for keeping a group of users with an insatiable appetite for 'more' happy with a great sacrifice to his personal time.
Not contempt with just attending hearings he's also very active and knowledgeable in the
dedicated Bossmanjack legal trouble thread always trying his best to interpret the latest legal developments of someone who collects new charges like he collects new computer keyboards.
Mr. Supreme's efforts in following, analyzing and explaining a complex legal case both offline and online are hallmarks of a great researcher, thanks for your service.
