So, yeah, between the general Japanese rising sentiment that "nuisance" youtuber should be yeeted off, and even the Japanese politician chiming in on the situation, Somali's case has become a little bit political. there's public outcry and political pressure to throw down the book at Johnny. I think Johnny's chance of walking free becomes from 0 to negative.

Johnny and his camera man should confess now and just take the L and serve their sentence while its still light, otherwise, the Japanese will really make an example out of them and lock them up for probably up to decades because of multiple crimes.

I don't believe it. 5 years is way too long. Even people who are charged with posession of child porn get less in Japan. Are you telling me that being an obnoxious bastard & trespasser in public is worse than being a pedophile?
