Heh, well, they still have racially segregated proms down south.

Oh, yes. Since I'm well beyond prom age that's never been high on the list of reasons I have no desire to move there... but it is, in fact, on that list, since I work in education and would probably not be able to restrain myself from ranting about the fucking stupidity of that, and the fact that you still find idiots walking around calling the Civil War "the War of Northern Aggression" (rly? Who fired on Fort Sumter again, and from which direction? Etc.), and and and. And then I would no longer have a job in anything.
Oh, definitely. Well, I don't care about prom either. To me, it more makes a statement about the south in general than anything. And the only way they're able to legally have segregated proms is when they go out of their way to fund their own, private proms. So it's not just some existing policy they're too lazy to oppose (or they benefit from), they're actually sinking their own money into funding it.

While Bob may not have had a mental picture of himself as a racist -- and I agree that he was being quite literal in telling the prank caller that he personally had seen crosses burning, not threatening to burn a cross at some dude on the phone -- he certainly had no problem benefiting from a racist society. Imagine a parent of a black kid in Not-the-DC-Suburbs, Virginia flipping their shit in any of the ways Borb did. No way they'd get away with it to such a vast degree.
Heh, well, rarely do people picture themselves as racists. Sometimes white power groups refer to themselves as racists, but I don't know if even that's common. They use stupid terms like "race realists" or other stupid shit. But yeah, I don't take the "I've seen crosses burnin fella" thing as a direct threat. Just seems like a poorly executed attempt to intimidate the caller. He did benefit from a racist society, but you could say that about everyone.

Chris is actually a mineral.

I was gonna say Chis is human neutral, like a car stuck in neutral. You can try to make it move, but the more you throttle it, the more noise it makes without moving, there's a big stink cloud hanging around the neighborhood, and at the end of the day there's a big brown greasy stain on your drive way.

The problem with Chris using the women's bathroom though isn't that he's identifying as female, and wishes to become female, he just likes to be a man in a skirt. I wouldn't be surprised if he went in there, started (his attempt at) flirting as a straight man with any women who were in there, and naturally freaked them out by default.

and who knows if his story of using the women's restroom is even the truth. he may have just made it up to try to fit in. kinda like when he made up a sweetheart or when he made up the gay camp story.

Yeah, that's possible, but I find it believable because of the part about him getting yelled at for using the ladies bathroom.

Yeah, at the end of the day, Chris was just a man walking into a women's restroom. If any other guy did that he'd be labeled as a pervert and would possibly receive a swift punch to the face from somebody's partner or father. The fact that he was dressed (badly) as a woman makes no difference.

You could even go a little deeper and speculate that it's another example of Chris expecting the real world to follow rigid computer game like rules. He's wearing this outfit so he's allowed access to different parts of the level, right? (Like the Hitman games for example)

If he was wearing that outfit, people would assume he was a tranny.

That's just it, just because Chris has spontaneously decided he'd rather wear women's clothes it doesn't mean he gets to bend the rules. An outfit is just that... an outfit, it doesn't confer any special properties on the wearer.

At the end of the day, every woman's right to use the restroom in private far outstrips Chris' right to just walk in there.

He got yelled at? I just remembered him talking about how he sat down, pointed his "arrow" (his word) down and peed, and it "felt right."

Oh, uhh, I forget sometimes what Chris has and hasn't said publicly. Well, he has gotten yelled at for using the ladies bathroom before. I forget if it was at mcdonalds or at tgi fridays. He's been seen at tgi fridays a few times because, back when he could, he went there a few times for his long island iced teas.

Public is that Chris went on the Tomgirls/Tomboys forum and bitched that he got yelled at for using the ladies restroom at the mall. McDonald's and TGI Fridays are new as far as I know. If you want to edit your post/mods want to edit this post cause it's not supposed to get out that's cool.

More specifically, he said a woman filed a complaint about the issue (after 4 more trips to the powder room), after which the "stereotypical Brute male" yelled at him, embarrassing Chris who was, in his words (ha), wearing a skirt.

If he gets banned from the women's restroom, he'll choose :briefs: over using the men's restroom.

I've definitely heard of him getting into trouble so it must be public.

I seem to recall a mall security guard telling him to get out? I can't swear to this though.

Ah, there we go. I knew (or I thought, at least) it was public somewhere. But I also think he's gotten yelled at or confronted in other places, possibly mcdonalds or tgi fridays. I don't know, I'm recovering from a night of drinking, don't bother me. :pickle:

Edit: Actually, looking at the tomboys/tomgirls post, he might've gotten yelled at at tgi fridays. Though I don't know/remember which is which now, so, whichever.

Oh yeah! Now I remember where "brute male" comes from!

So did he put up a 'tard fight when yelled at, or just meekly leave the scene?

Pussied out, but as he said in his post, he decided he still would use the ladies room because "there is no goin' back for [him]."

Gender neutrality is an identity, one in constrast to the "gender role" archetype thingy we had as a social contruct (and which varies from culture to culture) that was built since the start of society. For example myself, as an actual gender neutral, the only particularity in my life is that I ignore the very speciffic (and in my mind usless) gender-varying stuff, Chris by the other way, obviously isn't gender neutral, he considers himself male but dresses like a woman and to boot he is homophobic, he's a very bizarre and malformed gender bender.

Yeah I go with gender bender, if only he knew...
