Christian has a strange relationship with GodJesus, but he believes in Christianity and probably thinks he's going to go to heaven when he dies. From the looks of it, Chris is a casual, frequent sinner and rarely feels remorse or regret. Any Christians on this board have an opinion of what awaits Chris in his afterlife based on how he's chosen to live his life?

I know where this threads going AUGH YEAH

Haha but no seriously, I don't think he's eligible for Heaven if he croaked tomorrow, mostly because I believe that the divine will weigh our sins and good deeds and judge us accordingly. This is a problem for Chris, for obvious reasons.

Well, if you're going by a loose interpretation of salvation, one only needs to hold fast that Jesus is Lord and to submit themselves to the higher power. It's how the thief on Golgotha was given salvation, and its how many of the new age churches will tell you. If you've lived a shitty life, you can be saved by calling upon Jesus's name in your last moments. That's why last rites exist. Not a believer but I believe that's the best answer for you.

Chris's foetid and rotting soul shall be shat through satan's colon into a place darker and worse than any hell......as he is reincarnated to live life as christian weston chandler once again. Both his eternal crime and his eternal punishment

Neither, because they're not real :ween:

But no, really, it depends on where one's particular faith is. In Christianity alone I think there's a lot of interpretation on that one. Sometimes Heaven is only for True and Honest believers, past sins (or lack of) be damned! Sometimes Heaven is only for the most pure and upstanding citizens. Sometimes Heaven is basically for anyone who hasn't killed a puppy, violated its corpse, and never tried to repent for the deed.

Whether Chris is a True and Honest believer, I'll leave open for the reader to decide. But in terms of actual sins he's committed, the worst thing he's done has been to hit Snyder with his car and not show any remorse for it ever. Once again, that's up to the reader to determine where that act lies on the Ladder of Morality.

Also this:

It's not for us to judge.

He'll find out the day that he dies. And I don't think, by any faith, he can have a favorable outcome, be it Heaven or a good reincarnation or whatever.

Chris doesn't submit himself to any authority, at least not without bitter reservation. Is Chris the type to humble himself in awe of creation or is he the type to invoke the name of GodJesus to get his way?

In all honesty, that does describe a fair amount of self-described Christians too. ¬_¬

YOU WON'T RETURN MY BROKEN COFFEE MAKER EVEN THOUGH I DON'T HAVE THE RECEIPT?! YOU WILL BURN IN HELL WHEN YOU DIE! I'LL MAKE SURE OF IT! GOD IS ON MY SIDE!

Well it seems like everyone else was being unbiased but GG Nidoking.

Chris is already in a hell of his own! He had to pay MONEY for a dang hooker! Any guesses to what Chris' personal hell would be? I'm thinking it would be a never-ending phone call with Alec , with an all-new episode of Family Guy on in the next room which he can never see, because the never-ending hoard is blocking the door.

As someone who believes in reincarnation, I'm inclined to agree with this.

Most southern denominations of Christianity believe that if you die without having repented your sins, you're fucked. That doesn't just mean you do it once and you're good to go, that means if you willingly look at pornography (let alone masturbate) and then walk out your door only to get hit by a bus, your next stop is hell. Chris is an unrepentant sinner. He may believe, but it's safe to say he commits more sins than even the most sinful atheists, like me. Unless he cleans up his act in virtually every way, he is as hellbound as any of us.

The ultimate, most hellish nightmare of torment Chris could ever conceive of having to face as his eternal retribution?

He must work a menial, eight-hour job, and mow the lawn and do dishes and cook dinner when he gets home. :alog:

His personal Hell probably involves what constitutes our regular lives. Responsibility and working.

Is there some sort of Valhalla for the Sonichu characters? He'd likely end up there. :julay:
