Is HR causing the competency crisis?

HR hiring Pajeets, niggers, Chinks and fags has another chilling effect- brilliant people are smart enough to realize it’s not worth it. It’s a huge part of Gifted Kid Burnout. It’s not just DEI. Getting fucked by nepotism or a recession early in one’s career can trigger this as well. People learn to underachieve if they’re not rewarded.

I’ve told some of my redpilled friends IRL, the Jews want us to work like Pajeets and Chinks, and I say we give them niggers instead!

This sounds like a loser take but for me it actually led to failing upward. The niggers are onto something by being incompetent. There are positions where success is punished and failure is rewarded. It used to only happen with certain government positions where people were impossible to fire and the operation wasn’t trying to run a profit. I have a nagging suspicion that more and more of these jobs are appearing in the private sector. The plan is for DEI hires to get these positions while white men either don’t get hired or bust their asses until corporate says they have to cut 10% of jobs off across the board in the next recessio. But by networking and being in the right palace at the right time, it’s possible for a toid to slip in.

This also explains how and why the male as a provider is our evolutionary norm. In practice, basically all of the actual work in society gets done by men.
This is actually incorrect. Women historically have been massively productive and were responsible for most pre industrial production used by people. Being it cooked food or the clothes on everyone's back. It was assumed as a matter of course that the women of a pre industrial household woke up first so that when the men woke up breakfast was ready for them before they went out into the fields.

If you go and look at all of the major innovations in history I am pretty sure that in the vast majority of them, maybe all of them, they were accomplished by teams of over 90% men. If you look at the room at NASA for the moon mission for example, or the staff on the Manhattan Project, it's gonna be close to 100% white and Jewish men. If women are present at all they're not in technical or decision-making roles they're secretaries or something like that. I feel confident that in zero of these cases ever has the big new innovation or accomplishment been the result of a majority-female team.

Not necessarily true. This was NASA's predecessor in 1949. Those women were called computers and their job was to do the math and work mechanical calculators to solve the math problems for the male engineers. Some of them ended up being very good at their job and actually ended up programming some of the 1940s/50s era computers.

Poor women also worked in coal mines and factories too, they just worked in different parts than the men. They would haul the coal out of the mine, usually with the help of their children. Can't forget the infamous Triangle Shirtwaist Factory either.

The fact that machinery improved to the point where few women were needed in the workforce (outside of secretaries, teachers, etc.) was truly a marvel of both industry and the bargaining power of workers. But then we had feminism and the powers that be used that to force women back into the workforce, drive down wages, and eventually drive down productivity, and look where we are now.

This room isn't where the innovation happened.

In 1988, real estate agent and con artist John Barlow is placed in suspended animation after a freak accident. He is revived in the distant future, in a confusing world filled with hypersexualized advertisements, vapid entertainment, and people who exhibit erratic, nonsensical behavior. Shortly after being revived, Barlow is introduced to two men, Tinny-Peete and Ryan-Ngana, who inform him that the lamentable state of society is the fault of the "morons", the world's vast population of unintelligent people, who greatly outnumber the much smaller population of intelligent people.

Tinny-Peete and Ryan-Ngana explain to Barlow that the most urgent crisis of their time is the population problem ("Poprob"). Historically, people of higher intelligence often chose to have few children (or no children at all) for pragmatic reasons, while people of lower intelligence, compelled by their sex drives, had larger families and reproduced in greater numbers. By the far future era in which Barlow has awakened, this unbalanced trend has been carried to its logical extreme, with a total world population of five billion morons (with an average IQ of 45) living under the supervision of three million members of an elite, intellectual upper-class who secretly govern world affairs. Both Tinny-Peete and Ryan-Ngana are members of this group.

The simple-minded morons cannot be left to govern themselves or else the world will descend into chaos and war. As a result, the elite minority are effectively "enslaved" by the moron majority, working themselves to exhaustion while attempting to maintain global order and stability. Controlling the morons' population growth is impractical for several reasons, but unless some corrective action is taken, the inevitable outcome will be the depletion of Earth's dwindling natural resources, followed by the total collapse of human civilization. All attempts to solve Poprob have failed, and the elite hope that Barlow, as a man from a different time and with a different perspective on the problem, might be able to offer a novel solution.

Barlow has an idea, but he refuses to elaborate until Tinny-Peete and Ryan-Ngana agree to formally name him dictator of the entire world, promising him wealth, power, and fame. Taking inspiration from his knowledge of fraudulent real estate deals, propaganda techniques employed by Nazi Germany during the Holocaust, and the myth of lemmings drowning themselves in the sea, Barlow devises a plan for the extermination of the moron population. Barlow orchestrates a massive propaganda campaign encouraging the morons to migrate to the planet Venus. The overcrowded and inefficient cities in which the morons reside are to be dismantled, their steel used to construct fleets of rockets ostensibly intended to ferry people to Venus; in reality, because the "rockets" (disguised passenger planes) are not actually capable of space flight, the morons will simply be flown out to sea and disposed of in an orderly fashion. To allay any suspicion, forged postcards are sent from Venusian "colonists" to their families, describing Venus as a lush tropical paradise and encouraging them to follow. The United States Congress, under the control of the elite, promotes the colonization of Venus as an extension of manifest destiny and guarantees Venusian settlers permanent land rights on the planet. This sparks widespread nationalistic fervor as the various nations of Earth all adopt similar approaches and race to reach Venus in order to stake their own claims.

Barlow's plan is a complete success; Earth is gradually emptied of morons and Poprob is solved. While reviewing his ledger, Barlow comes across an entry for an unauthorized project called "Poprobterm". When he demands an explanation, his assistants lead him to a waiting, functional rocket, force him aboard, and immediately launch the rocket into space; the sudden acceleration crushes Barlow against the floor, killing him. The elite, disgusted by Barlow's ruthlessness and cruelty, have disposed of him as part of the "final cleanup" of Poprob.

Yeah I agree with this. The women my age doing my job are as competent as the men are. There are competent women out there, doing technical jobs. In a world of pure meritocracy for high level tech work you’d expect to see a similar curve to the IQ curve by sex - women clustering more in the middle, but they aren’t absent from the top jobs.
What’s changed is putting people who aren’t suited into higher roles for DEI points with no gatekeeping. If you’re a synthetic chemist who is fifty, and female, you got there by being good. You’ve come up through a predominantly male workplace and know the rules, you fit in (as well as the men do anyway lol) and you just do your job.
Something weird and toxic has happened to the workplace. Valuing ‘feelings’ over results to a crazy degree seems to be the cause. I’m not talking about ‘be decent to each other and don’t yell’ but about prioritising an abstract over just getting shit done. It doesn’t work.
There’s very little gatekeeping in ability either. I’ve recently had to suffer a young male admin fresh out of college who wanted a job my level. Been asked this before of course. Happy to bring younger staff along. My response is always the same - sure, we hired you to do x but if you’re willing to do that and then take in some stretch tasks I’m very happy to mentor you.
But he doesn’t want that. He palms all the admin work he was hired for off in the female admins (it’s below him apparently) and he lies and is bitchy. I tell him very bluntly that if he wants to be under my wing he needs to do the work he was hired for and not act like that. He has a tantrum. He says he deserves my job, when he’s not even capable of doing a job six or seven tiers below and learning to work upwards. So no, the place under my wing went to the other admin who took in all the work with an eye roll, did it well and asked if she could sit in on more senior stuff. Sure you can, just let me palm boyo off on another team first.,.
The loss of gatekeeping and meritocratic advancement has been a disaster.

Valuing feelings over results? Hmmm you don't say. I wonder how that could have happened. It is a real head-scratcher!

I've never experience this level of HR meddling.

HR doesn't have as much control as recruiting as they are actually the ones doing the interviews. Recruiters are given bonuses based on how fast they fill seats and how long their hires stick around. Incentivizing them to not fuck around.

The final hiring decision we all get together and concur on who should get sent an offer.

This is in the tech industry and not in California though.

That’s how we used to do it. We used to write a description, give it to HR to put out, they’d give us all the CVS. We’d tell them which we wanted to interview, we’d interview them and then we’d say who we wanted. Hr would then call them and sort out the paperwork.
Now it’s ’interview these two candidates’ were there any others?
We can’t tell you that.
I need to know because both these candidates were shit and I know for a fact others have applied…
These two fit our profiles, pick one.
Both are shit. I know two people from pharma X applied where are they?
Rejected
Why?
We cannot tell you that
Etc.
Don’t get me started on how a faceless unaccountable department now writes budgets too. Apparently there’s an algorithm. The budget bears no resemblance to reality and the first thing the poor sod running the project has to do is tell the client it’ll actually cost them triple.
It’s all just bizarre levels of unaccountability for admin functions, and all the blame and accountability pushed into the operations layer, who then burn out because their job is being made impossible. We can’t easily replace those people because they’re the ones with the technical skill.
I hate it. It’s like a modern day Kafka novel

HR and Finance being the sole groups who get to decide salary bands is some bullshit. That is for sure.

I am fine arguing with finance about how much money another head should cost. But you don't get input on that now.

A couple of related things I have noticed in the last few years are the insane amount of education younger people get and the lack of working any sort of entry level job. And by entry level, I mean like fast food or Walmart, not an entry level corporate job. I have met 30-year olds that have a college degree and a masters, or even two masters, that are just now getting their first job. And because they are so highly educated, they can land a corporate job pretty easily, but usually it is a position, that up until a few years ago, only required a college degree at best. Many people were hired with just a high school diploma and experience alone.

Ethnic nepotism and binning resumes because of race or sex are illegal in the USA. The 14A and Civil Rights Act cover race and sex in general, not "marginalized identities" or whatever. However, in America, most laws are toothless unless an aggrieved party files a lawsuit, and so far, white males just don't feel enough of a pinch to turn to a lawyer for help. Frankly, I've seen women actively discriminated against in the workplace, and they just worked elsewhere rather than sue because lawsuits are so stressful. Because nobody wants to sue, DEI regimes are running out of control. However, I think it's just a matter of time.

Another factor I've recently noticed in hiring Indians and Asians is rootless people are easier to move around. I recently got recruited by a company in a far away city, and I told them I'm uninterested in moving. I have a family and church here, I'm middle-aged, and I have no desire to move. Well, they filled the position a couple weeks ago with an Indian. Looked his LinkedIn, and he he's never lived in the same state for more than about three years.

Is there even a competency crisis in the first place? If so, by what metrics would you judge it? In my humble opinion, the world tends to get better. For example:

https://ourworldindata.org/oil-spills (And volume increased)

There have always been large struggling companies. Always companies that were badly managed. Erros always occur. For a crisis there has to be an epidemic and I frankly do not see it. Maybe it's an American thing though.

The problem with HR is more due to the fact that you need to jump through mental hoops and gaslight yourself into thinking tyrrrrrone straight from the ghetto with 0 experience is somehow better than john doe with 30 years of experience just because he is the aproved color and uncle sam said if you don't have 20 blacks working in the company by next month its bye bye to your company.
So you end up with people who stop giving a shit/just check who is a minority and call it a day or the smart ones say fuck this and jump ship any other administration department

An obvious example are the issues Boeing has. However a lot of these companies run on inertia: hiring a diverse candidate over a qualified candidate here and there doesn’t impact much at first. But diverse candidates are like termites. Eventually project costs shoot up, deadlines get missed, terrible products get shipped out and eventually get into a death spiral where people pay more and more for less and less and it falls apart, much like a termite infestation. Just because a company or a house looks good on the outside doesn’t mean things are going well inside.

Personally I prefer our country to not resemble a termite infestation but it hurts too many feelings to tell underqualified diverse candidates to get good or get out. So we will see a Boeing-ification of all our industry and then act shocked when it starts falling apart, literally, like a Boeing jet. Do you want to be on a plane that starts falling apart mid flight? Doesn’t seem smart to wait until everything falls apart to decide if we have a competency crisis or not.
