There was plenty throughout the 60's, 70's, and 80's. 80's had a ton of racial violence, the war on drugs really kicked off hard. There was also serious economic hardship during the 80s along with the looming shadow of the cold war.
That's really hard to take as the early 2010s still feel very recent to me.
We're well into the decade, by 2002 the 2000s were already starting to heavily come into their own as a culture distinct from the 90s, not the least of which because it was the "post 9/11 era", while there was a lot of holdover, there's still no mistaking 2002 for 1999.
the 2010s were "fine" although shit started going south in 2014, Woke was already a clear and present danger before Trump ever rode down that escalator.
None of those times has a worldwide human population of 8 billion, with most of that in the third world. They also didn't have humanity leading itself to causing ecological collapse globally while the people that cause it try to force the problem on the masses and blame them. As well as actively try to take everything away from them. Yes, we don't currently have mustard gas raining down on us, we don't have two superpowers holding a finger over the nuke button, but we have several crises on our hands. And it will be sadly up to people that didn't cause it to solve it, and they are woefully unprepared.
I am glad I graduated long before the COVID era. I remember that one time I wore a mask on a plane for 5 hours and I go a headache. If I didn't, these cunts would fine me 30 thousand dollars. So imagine having to wear a mask for an entire school day which takes up to 8 hours for 5 days a week. Even if I do get fined. I am not gonna pay any of my money that the globalists already stole from me through taxes (which is even worse in Canada). I would probably steal money from globalists instead.
What if both Donald Trump and Jair Bolsonaro rules the United States and any other country that desperately needs to overthrow it's globalist leaders? Seems unrealistic and illogical in every level though.

People aren't built for having no true meaning. So many jobs are meaningless or just vestigial now because so many basic tasks that people used to make a living off of can now be done by machines. At the same time, people's over all self worth has been degraded over the years because of this increasing fact, and the internet making people compare their already comfortable lives to people even richer. I don't think access to infinite resources is the pure issue, it's not having systems against addiction in all it's forms and just letting people fall into the trap of consumerism over identity.
Everything in today's world is justified with the phrase "GDP go up", as if that's even a useful metric in measuring someone's happiness, much less measuring societal success.
Even in college it already feels like this. You go to the same fucking subjects, learning the same fucking algorithms, seeing the same fucking batchmates over and over and this is repeated in an office. People are fucking bland, either busy playing the next big thing, watching the next big thing or listening to the next big thing, drowning in consoomerism and lack of honest relationships, further exacerbated by social media. Most of the good women either fled to other countries or are pretty much old and will get old as soon as you graduate so you're stuck with brainless nobodies that will be glued to their phones.

More than America falls when America falls, too many fingers in too many pies. Many nations still rely on the US's protections and especially agriculture. Once the US government gets splintered, the military protection is no longer uniform. Neither would exports be too accessible especially if US oil control is no longer strong. There will be a lot of fighting over that. And if Russia drives itself into a pit too then there will be a lot more fighting. And this is simplifying things.
America really is built on a stack of cards and it's biggest problem is despite it's immense power, it's also completely dependent on that power and losing access to global markets would weaken the Government tremendously back home.
Almost all the big governments are built on a house of cards. Russia has shown how fucking incompetent it is with both the military and the citizen morale. China is on the same boat but with Communism. If either the big 3 falls, no shit that all will fall and that the death of the 20th century is upon us.
Good riddance I say, now the goal is preparing for this so you'll be ready when it happens.
