To remind the audience she is indeed the author of Harry Potter, and don’t anyone forget that. She could’ve very well left out her autistic eulogy to characters she decided to off years ago but nah she just had to cram that in with an actual epidemic that’s killing real people.

we can't have public events right now and the annual commemorations around The Battle of Hogwarts have been an important part of life for a while, just like how everybody goes to their local ninja temple each year to commemorate when Naruto saved the school from evil ninjas.

I still remember her talking about how she cried so much over killing a particular character in the seventh book, but then she changed it at the last minute. I think it was one of Ron's brothers.

JKR plz for the love of God, just stop using Twitter to sprout out about your Harry Potter tibits that only the obsessed of fans would give an inkling of care to know.

Each time you say something, you're going to offend a bunch of "woke" people. Why not just while away the time by doing old people stuff and let the money keep rolling in.

Just realized this thread existed and this may have been covered, but there are two things that have always bugged me about JK Rowling.

1. Her literary ark is similar to Chris-chans in the sense that their work got popular early on, is arguably one of the most famous works in its category (Harry potter in YA fiction and Sonichu in bad web comics/fan fiction) , got a following of autist that won't let it die, people still write fan fiction about it to this day, both authors lost all motivation to write and believe tweets are all that's needed to retcon old stories and tell new ones. Frankly the only difference I saw is that Chris was always a lolcow where as Rowlings is becoming one and chris will occasionally draw new art.

2. Her forced diversity tends to backfire, for example Dumbledore rarely had girls in his office, in fact I think he only had hermonie up there once in the entire series, and had Nevil, Ron, Harry and other boys come to his office alone regularly and would often offer them candy that could poison, paralyses, or harm them. Before she revealed he liked dicks this was seen as him being playfull, and trying to mentor the boys now it seems like he's a child predator offering little boys a bowl of skiddles and skiddle shaped ruffies.

There are elements and tendencies within Rowling’s life that suggest that she was always a lolcow or at least had the potential within her to be one. There is a reason this woman was on welfare and digging through trash cans before she wrote those books.

Oh no, she was privately wealthy enough to take a year or two off and then lied about how she was totally broke and jobless.

That was a lie.
