Not a Eurofag, so I can only speculate, but from what Sargon of Akkad has spoken about before, it sounds like growing up in a nanny state has left these older women genuinely terrified of men and dependent on female-only spaces, so they are more than willing to fight to keep them.

I love JKR as she is pissing off the genderwoowoos perfectly. She's too wealthy to have to put up with slander/libel. She's too popular to cancel. She's intelligent. She's also a left-wing, tax paying liberal who just happens to be gender critical so the lazy idea that all gender criticals are conservative, religious or right-wing is blown out the water here.

I just want to see her respond to tweet from a blue-haired teenager telling her to 'educate herself' with a picture of her dabbing her tears with a £50 note.

We can't have the words "men" and "women" anymore even though these people want to LARP as the opposite sex for their entire life.... Women menstruate! You learn that from the time you reach double digits! To say that is to deny reality. AFAB/AMAB should just be called XX or XY from now on. Oh, wait, trans people want to "pass" as the opposite sex.... even when they have medical shit involved. Ok then.
