At one point you had a 16 year old knocking out 20 + year olds (this isn't a defense for Jake btw) but thats only a few years and nothing for a freak like Tyson. But 30 year difference? This whole thing was always gonna be fucking stupid. Dudes in his 60s. Sure it's a 60s Tyson but it's still a 60 year old. Chain weed smoking, shroom popping modern Tyson
And he still had to clutch against him, what a faggot he is!

Edit: Clinch? Clutch, whatever the hugging shit is called

Fellas, as much as i wanted to see Mike Tyson hit a TKO on Logan Paul, having seen the state that Mike Tyson was in for the past ~10 years or so, I'm not the slightest bit surprised that it ended up like this. No matter how much of a legend you were at your physical peak, if you are munching down shrooms and ripping bong hits on a daily basis for a decade at almost 60, there's not a fucking chance in hell that you are beating another boxer at their physical peak. Hell, I'm extremely impressed that he was still standing after the 3rd round, considering the condition his lungs must be in.
Just to demonstrate how many drugs Tyson is still taking at the tender age of 58:

I guess Tyson decided that it's better to fade away than burn out. Hope that paycheck can bankroll your next fistful of mushrooms!

And he still had to clutch against him, what a faggot he is!

Edit: Clinch? Clutch, whatever the hugging shit is called
Yea clinching. If he was clutch it would've been like coming in at the last minute win when he wasn't doing exactly great

To parrot the thread, I was hoping beyond hope that Mike would cave Paul's skull in but his age and the knee injury alongside the reach difference really made him seem like a wounded lion. Respectable showing and his defense was still amazing to see.

Iron Mike proved himself to possess the Aryan spirit and made a shitload of money. That Taylor-Serrano fight, alongside that first Mike round made the night worth it. I'm very happy to have pirated this event.

Idk why these MMA dudes, besides for the paycheck, decide to sully their reputations and legacy for the sake of fighting some inbred influencer. Especially in the boxing arena where the majority of their skills are unapplicable.
Their careers have been dead for ages now, they dont get brand deals or anything anymore and the Pauls offer them millions to come out and get beat up. Silva especially had a pretty disgraceful end to his MMA career. They offer them so much money they can't say no.

For that amount I would have even done it
I don't think there's anyone here who wouldn't.

Saw that coming from a mile away, father time is undefeated. Casuals will still say this is an upset. Honestly it only makes Jake look worse, he was timid and unable to finish a fossilized Tyson which is beyond sad for a good athlete in his prime. He atleast should've got a KD once or twice. Complete clown show... why was this shit so hyped?!
I don't think it's an upset. I don't think father time is undefeated either. I've seen men a lot weaker than Tyson do plenty more than he did last night at his age. He ain't fossilized for shit. He's just not allowed to dive in and pummel the kid. If he was, Jake wouldn't be wearing literal jewel encrusted million dollar boxers into a ring. It's all bullshit.

did anybody really expect this to be an actual fight after the sissy slap tyson dropped pre-match? this shit was the most set in stone match ever. tyson lost a lot of my respect here, i still hope jake paul eats cyanide, and boxing has proven itself as a worthless, fake sport to an even bigger degree than wrestling, a sport that everyone already knows is fake. this is pathetic.

Do I think there was some seedy backroom deal where they shook hands and decided exactly how the fight would go? No.
I think that's exactly what happened because it's Jake Paul and he is a serial con-man. Of course he's cooking up seedy backroom deals he's a fucking actual snake in a human suit. Shame on Mike Tyson for agreeing to it, too.

Welp, my last hope now is that if Butterbean's comeback fight is a success, he goes gunning for Jake Paul's ass.

Another chance to inflate the Pauls bank account by another zero, but also give Butterbean some serious retirement bank and another chance to see a former KO monster possibly knock Jake's shit out his mouth via his ears..

That fight was an embarrassment.

Any wigger who says Jake "beat" Mike is retarded. He won boxing, the game. If I win against you in a game of checkers, I didn't beat you. You simply lost a game. He didn't do shit in terms of boxing, the sport. He couldn't stand and bang with a man over twice his age because he was scared of an uppercut Mike hasn't been able to throw since the Bush admin. He felt content dancing around with an 8" reach advantage to gas out someone who struggles to walk unassisted most of the time, going for big ol' hugs to reset whenever he was worried grandpa was catching up to pretend to threaten him (because he's geting $12M post-taxes to never throw anything harder than a jab). Hope that was worth breaking his "All knockouts" streak.

And fuck Mike Tyson. I'm disgusted. Mike rebuilt his entire brand and wealth by himself after losing it all from completely floundering at the end of his pro career after Don King turned him into a circus ape. He had a great chance to let this be his last match where he could show off more of that athleticism he was marketing in all of his training videos, but instead he still let the little money-grabbing hedonist in him that Don King groomed win out and he decided to just cap things off as a circus monkey yet again. I'm not saying Mike would've smeared Jake, but if anyone believes Mike still can't throw a straight that'd leave Jake Paul stumbling for the rest of the match, you simply do not know shit about boxing. He deliberately tomato canned and I hope he knows his younger self would spit on him for it.

That being said, it's not the death knell of boxing. Heavyweight boxing's been dead for like 20 years. All the excitement is in the lower weight classes like we saw with Taylor and Serrano in the women's lightweights and Barrios and Ramos in the welterweights. The issue is it's not as casually digestible because you don't see the same knockout power you see in the in the light-heavyweights upwards, so it's just not appealing to the layman. It says a lot when two women scrambling at each other like it's a PRIDE FC pre-broadcast undercard is the most popular match-up.

Now for Paul to dig up Earnie Shavers and claim he beat the guy who scared Ali.

I've been reading around and whomst is a fan of Jake Paul? I don't think I've seen one positive comment towards Jake Paul on Reddit or Facebook or YouTube. Is it kids on Tiktok primarily? I'd be interested to see what the Gen Z folks are saying but what I think is interesting is that Logan Paul for sure is part of the 2016-era of the internet and Jake sort of rode his popularity which means their "original" audience should've been the 20-30 crowd who would now be at least late 20s to late 30s.

I've seen commentary on Logan being a decent wrestler in the WWE more than I've seen comments on Jake beyond admitting that he has "some" athleticism. I think Logan could still be able to reach a very young fanbase of Gen Alpha/Gen Z because of work with wrestling and associations with MrBeast but Jake is not involved with that. Jake is in an adult sport so who is his actual audience? It must be late 20s to late 30s still and his peers don't like him. This guy just straight up has so much money it doesn't matter who he even is at this point. He could be an absolute nobody with 400 million bought followers on social media who just paid to host his own main event like Kim Jong Un. And like Kim and his friendship with Dennis Rodman, who has done exhibition matches in NK as well, he just used some old minstrel show black guy for funsies. Who is the audience if you're not actually forced to be there and enjoy it?
