Honestly, a 58 year old guy taking 300 punches for 8 2 minute rounds is infinitely tougher than any punch Jake Paul could hope to throw in his life. Jake will be dead before he even sees 58. I don't see this as a real loss for him, I don't think Tyson really sees it as a loss either. I think he probably knew going into it he wasn't going to knock him out but he could go the full 8 rounds without getting knocked out. That would be a fair enough trade to me if it came with a giant multi million dollar cheque because sure, "technically" he was beaten but he definitely did not knock out Mike Tyson and I don't know, I think a lot of people here would be knocked out after punch 100 under the age of 50.

For this, I am not upset. I don't think it was as staged as it could've been and I appreciated that Mike never bought into the stupid cringe hype Jake was trying really hard to pull and instead went with a much more classic respectable approach. I think they would've loved him playing up the extra niggerdom and coming out with giant 1980s gold chains or playing a fool but the fact he played it straight helped highlight how stupid Jake's persona is.

The guy at the end basically begging Mike to give Jake a seal of approval that he deserves respect from the public now and the crowd remains silent while he looks stupid and awkward - the cracks of his insecure delusion is starting to show. He thinks he's playing a heel and that people secretly actually love him, like when Hogan went to the NWO. But actually literally no one is cheering for him, ever. I didn't realize his wife was equally as retarded as him but she made sure to only give seductive looks to the camera even when her face twitched to a different expression.

Basically we just watched Richie Rich play pretend with Mike Tyson but in reality. While Netflix struggled hard to maintain the lowest bitrate stream of it.

But as soon as they mentioned this was his first professional fight in like 19 years or some shit I knew he would lose. In any case I was still hoping for Tyson to win purely out of dislike for the Paul brothers as well as respect for Tyson.

Tyson's original style is particularly ill suited to being an old fart. Everything he did relied on speed/physicality. Someone like Foreman at 58 would've looked better due to his style of pawing at people and being a big fucker. Also Foreman proved this point to a certain extent by being the oldest heavyweight champion at 45. He never had speed to lose so he didn't age nearly as badly as Tyson.
